Great tutorial! I'm following quite well... quick question, when I use the ik spline handle, why do the character's leg DEFORM joints slightly translate out of place? but my ik and fk leg joints are in the same place? the way my character's spine joints are places are at a curve to match their back's curve and I don't know if having it straight matters or not. Thanks as always.

I'm loving your tutorials, but I have a question. When I first created the IK spline handle it moved the DEFORM legs and arms joints off a bit, so they are no longer aligned with the FK and IK MCH joints. Is there any way to align the DEFORM joints back to their original position or is this an unavoidable consequence of the IK spline?

Hey man, i came across the same problem watching the video, and i found out that when creating the Ik_spline, increasing the number of spans of your ik_spline, fixes the issue. If u keep your spans at 1, your joint chain offsets a bit, but when you crank it up to 4 it stays in place

Great Tutorial man! Quick Question: Is translating the control the only way to rotate the hips?

Yeah in this set up it is because the hip joint is entirely being overidden by the IK handle. IK splines work differently than blender it seems!

Hi Dikko, First off, thank you for this tutorial series. I have a critical question. Can I still make this same rig but without the spine rig and just use an FK spine while maintaining the FK/IK arms and legs? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

What do you parent the IK arms to? Is it to the hip joint or is it the Shoulder Jnts?
