Awesome breakdown Kevin, it's important to understand the value and effort needed for each redemption method so that you can decide which one offers the best balance for you. And great find on that Japan flight!

100% So often people only look at the dollar value but not the TIME value needed!

Did a very similar round trip redemption to Greece just yesterday. 180k points for business class on AF. Got lucky with the 25% bonus in transferring to them. 3.3 cents per point

Nice! Always feels great to have redemptions like those. Was it hard for you to find award space?

Glad you find it useful! What else would you like to see Jeffrey? Another ecosystem, more examples of these options? Something else?

@@KevinYang More of everything!!! haha but specifically, the "real examples" have been really helpful for me being someone new to the credit card game. It can be overwhelming to understand the ins and outs of how to maximize point redemptions/researching award availability. Videos like the real example Asia trips you made a while back, where you lay out everything step by step have been insanely valuable. Keep the awesome videos coming!!!

@@jeffreyliang9453 Haha I wish I could go on more of those trips, but only have that much time! It's definitely a top priority of mine to share, step by step, how I make my redemptions for any future ones!

Question for you: How many of these methods have YOU used? Which has been your favorite, or that you've gotten the most value out of?

I would have appreciated putting the last segment of the video first, because it’s the most important point.
