Chatang Recipe | Recreating The Lost Traditional Tribal Dish Of Tripura | By Namita's Rural Cooking
In this video I cook our traditional tribal dish Chatang recipe of northeast India Tripura. Chatang recipe is a millet soup made by varieties of vegetables, this recipe is similar from Beijing cuisine and Tianjin cuisine, also popular in eastern states of India, specially Tripura. This recipe is really helpful for our health and tastes delicious.many of our recipes have been lost for lack of documentation. So I tried to highlight the lost recipe of Tripura cuisine. After completing cooking I eat my lunch in traditional style with banana leaf.
Ingredients : -
1. Brinjal.
2. Raddish.
3. Hyacinth Bean.
4. Papaya.
5. Bitter Gourd.
6. Ginger.
7. Green Chilli.
8. Baking Soda.
9. Fermented Fish.
10. Dry Fish.
11. Salt.
If possible then try this recipe, it's zero oil recipe and so delicious.
