an RO system , removes the minerals too due to its INTENSE high pressure filtration , it is terrible and serves no purpose even in terms of hydration as it affects the water retention due to lack of minerals.MINERAL water found in stores is also RO water but with added compounds like nitrates and chlorides to add the necessary minerals needed by our body. the BEST option is just a regular WATER PURIFIER , not an RO , it is the worst thing to add to your kitchen health arsenal.
