Patty, i stopped lifting 7 years ago and became flabby. No matter how hard i tried i would akways lose motivation to get back into it. Its been a year since i found your content and ive stuck back to it for a year+ now. Im feeling better than ever and it doesn't hurt to play with my kid. Thanks Patty!

I checked your channel. It looks like you have been working out with weights much longer than a couple years ago. You have excellent designed workouts that clearly show you are knowledgeable more than the average gym person.

@@taoist32 thank you. I was in endurance sports for 20 years, long course triathlons. I've only started lifting recently as I wanted to build and maintain strength. Started my channel with home based workouts as I have learned a lot of the decades. While most of my workout are the HIIT variety on the channel, I do try to pass training information while we workout. Again, thanks for stopping by.

Your warm up is my workout 🏋️♂️ and your noises are the real ones I try not to make! 😂❤ and everything still hurts at 58! So many plates on that leg press! You should call it a leg impressed! Awesome workout! You make it look effortless!

I grew up doing strength and fitness training... it was a P.E. option... and only a few other girls in the class, mostly the football team. But I loved that as a 15 year old 5'3" girl I could do 450lbs sets of leg presses and the boys on the football team would be trying really hard to max out at 450lbs. I need to get back into it. A boyfriend once told me I had Neanderthal legs... naturally thick and strong. I have always had big calves and thighs, booty. I enjoy your videos... I aspire to have as scultped abs and arms as you!!!

Heeeeey! Here is your silly comment 😄 I am on my recovery journey from a pretty bad motorcycle accident where i completely tore my (ACL, LCL, MCL and destroyed my miniscus) But nothing keeps me down! I am at the gym almost everyday and doing my rehab training before i do my muscle training every day 🙂 Your videos is good entertainment when i am doing my rehab at the gym and also while eating my post workout meals 👌 I really love your transparency and your content allways makes mee smile! thank you emilia!! for sumo i do "hook" grip and for conventional i do "mixed" grip. id rather just do hook for both (although it hurts the thumbs pretty stinkin bad haha) but for whatever reason i just cant seem to get the hang of it with my conventional anyway ya, hope you have a good week!!

Sometimes our body just "don't like" some things 🤣 I tried three different grips for dead hang, but the only one that really works for me is still the traditional grip (yup, I'm still on the journey to do my first pull up). Never tried hook grip! Will try today, I'm curious now \o/ Good week for you too ❤️
