For me, this law of attraction thing is interesting and true in some level, it makes sense, but I feel like people go a little bit crazy on that haha. Like, we obviously can’t control the precise outcomes of things. Like ever. No matter how hard you think of the things you want. I feel like it can get a bit dangerous in terms of anxiety and projecting happiness far from where we’re standing (in the future and in external things). Just a warning, of course people who are more into this may have answers to outweigh that for them. But for me, it doesn’t resonate very much. I’ve been delving a bit into some Buddhist content. It’s been very enriching 😊

Do not grow resentment towards the world because of one's own frustration one because of the unwanted circumstances one's living through.. I felt that.

On the law of attraction thing, I would have experience on the idea about it. I first heard about it as a kid from my parents when they were first educating themselves about it. At first it was simply a positive mindset brings positive things while a negative mindset brings negative things (of course on a more focused level of things you want to happen vs things you don’t want to happen). Since I was a kid I just thought the idea was cool. So I would put those thoughts into practice with little things I wanted here and there (like cookies, or a specific toy, etc.) and somehow those little things manifested and ended up being given to me in the most bizarre moments. When I got older it became more complex the more I learned about it. Such as the positive affirmations, certain ways you say things have an affect on your energy and outcome. At that point my family and I would say “be careful what you wish for.” Depending on your vocabulary and how you think, you can make something come to life in ways you didn’t expect. Someone says “I want a new car,” and suddenly they get in an accident and now they have to buy a new car ( which they technically wanted, but not in the way they expect). So they have to be specific, write it down, say it carefully, think about it carefully. I’m not sure if it makes sense or if it’s the correct definition, but it’s how my family and I see it. Basically our thoughts snd words have power, so being more aware of that can help you in life compared to individuals who don’t know or are unaware of it.

This is a super interesting take! So it’s possible to receive what you want, but perhaps not in the way you’d expect….

@@SamLui Yes! That’s why one needs to be very specific when saying or thinking what they want. Kind of like being cautious about it and also being thankful or grateful when you receive it :)

Hey Sam! Just found your channel and I've been loving the topics and the calm organized way you lay out information. I totally agree that this is the perfect time to reflect. This video also reminded me of the book "How will you measure your life" especially when you discussed happiness. Looking forward to watching more videos!

This is such an important topic! I have just graduated from nursing school and I am absolutely exhausted. It was a demanding semester, and I really need to check in on myself. But on the other hand, I don't know what to do with myself now lol School was such a big part of my life and now I feel void...And at the same time I feel very relieved. Don't know how to explain it lol

Kuyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Saaaaaaaaam! So hahaah I was watching this then fell asleep (tired from the day and playing No Mans Sky) then woke up and the video was playing on your birthday video last 2 month ago so hahahaha that happened heheeheheheh my bad hahaha. This is an amazing video and I think its very timely particularly to emphasize that all dimensions are equally important, at 1st I thought you will just talk about mental and physical health hehehe. I really appreciate these types of video you make kuya - its the 1st time I heard of the 7 dimensions and Iam sure your audience really find it useful. Thank you for sharing your life experiences as examples too - greaaat content!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :D :D :D :D :D hahahaha

Hey for the thumbnail, you should of lower the brightness in the background because it is alittle too bright. And for the icons, they were good, but you should of Outline them in black to make them pop out more 😁👍
