Much enjoyed the longer format unboxing video. Hopefully you'll keep them coming.

I always love Dexter Press and Curt Teich cards because there's a database of serial numbers for those companies I have links saved for. So they're easy for me to date. lol

Thank you for going through your lot of postcards. I am just starting and this really helps. I love that you discussed why you bought them and how much you may get. Very informative. Great information.

You did great! At least for me. I learned that you can take a risk selling cards with some conditions. I have a few of them on my death pile. I also learned what states and towns to look for. Please keep this up and thanks for sharing.

West New York, NJ is just accross the Hudson River from Manhattan. That makes it West of NYC. Sent you an email just a few hours ago about the cards you are selling. Hope to hear from you soon.😊

Loved looking through all your cards! Why did everyone in Valdosta want a postcard with their house on it?! There must be a story behind that. :)

Thanks for another great video! That Boston Shoe Co. card is actually half of a panoramic card....I bought a similar one recently that folds and on the back it says to put a rubber band around the folded card. And, I have also sold one or 2 "half cards" with no problem - I just noted that it was half of a folding card.

Ah that makes so much more sense! I’ve definitely seen that on double cards. This one must have been separated really cleanly because I didn’t notice at all!

Funny that you mentioned remembering postcards... I've always had like a photographic memory myself and can go to a huge show and go through thousands of cards. Then tell you how often I've seen a certain card before. Since I've been collecting and selling postcards over 40 years know I have some archive in my head! A good skill to have in the PC business

Lots of cool cards. As per that card of the church at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fl.... I live in Winter Park which is kind of part of greater Orlando, but is it's own city. My son graduated from Rollins College (as did Mr. Rogers, lol). It is an incredibly beautiful campus made up of many classic old buildings and giant trees, kind of an ivy league style college. Always look forward to new Mailseum vids!

Standard Club, Atlanta - founded in the 1880s - where Atlanta's Old Money aristocratic ruling class met. You and I would not have been admitted, even if we could have afforded the membership fees.

And no doubt I wouldn't have been admitted either, nothing to do with the fees, but simply because I am female. Soooo glad we don't live in Victorian times any more. :)

Which state is the best one to sell these days on eBay?
@mailseum
3 ай бұрын
Good question! All southern states do well for me, Mississippi especially. Small towns in the Virginias do great. And early real photos from western states. Some states that sell very poorly for me are New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Iowa.
