Thanks! For the macros, I use an app called SoundFlow: soundflow.org/invite?fpr=293i6 I did a video that gets into Soundflow a bit more here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/0miP36OQpl9napg

I find the audiosuite and plugin version of Insight give different results, the audiosuite version gives inaccurate results.

Was the bounce created the same as what was exported from the external renderer? Looked like you had a different True Peak of -4.2 instead of -3.3 at the end. Wasn't sure if that was just a slight difference in the mix or what not. Thanks Dave!!

I believe it was. I know I messed up at least one of the measurements. Where I'm using this is while I'm in the process of mixing to see where things are. I still prefer to do final loudness checks with the Dolby Renderer.

You can also just measure the mp4 dd+joc export as that's a 5.1 pcm. Meters like the free YLM can read the file and is same as DAR measurement,

That's extra steps. This is easier for me to do while I'm in the process of mixing.

@@goingto11 Looked like you were rendering a separate 5.1 to measure offline to me? i'm just saying that step isn't needed, the same 5.1 pcm is in the dd+joc too if you didn't want to rerender.

This check is for use during mixing when there is no mp4, ADM, or any other printed version. Plus, as far as I'm aware, Pro Tools can't currently produce a dd+joc mp4.

Dave Thanks for this. I was unable to find it on Soundflow in the apps section. Is it somewhere else ?

It should be in the store if you look under my name.
