This incredible woman has changed WAG forever and hopefully inspired a whole new trend of mature gymnasts. You've got my support no matter what. 🥰
@Sarah_Parks

What is so amazing is not just the fact that Chellsie can seemingly already have potential to take on high level skills she necessarily didn't do during her career (and tries it once, and pretty much already has the potential to make it realistic to train and to compete it!), but that this community here on KZitem for her has grown tremendously in the past 2-3 weeks, especially now that her comeback is official. Everyone here is not only just watching her videos, but leaving these comments that I know I enjoy reading myself (so I can only imagine how Chellsie feels!!). Most of us are gym followers and completely realize Chellsie has the making to contend for a spot. Even better is that Chellsie was a judge, and probably has the best understanding of what difficult skills she can use that won't get hammered to death with deductions and maybe can already get an idea of what her execution scores might look like for a given routine. I love watching these videos every week. And I totally caught when Sammy commented in the video that Chellsie was insane for being 32 and trying to comeback to the Olympics! Yup, our girl is going for the big cheese!! I can already picture the NBC Sports "fluff" pieces on this (90s, early 2000s, anyone? lol). The popularity for WAG is already the most watched summer Olympic sport; imagine the story line if Chellsie makes it! This is way better than Tonya harding having to whack Nancy in order for the sport to gain a lot of viewership, lol I thought when Mohini made the Olympic Team in 2004, that was an amazing accomplishment (and still is), but Chellsie at 32, 10 years removed from the sport, and having 2 kids? That might be slighty more impressive.

I love how Chellsie says, “Holy moly!” during a balance check! I’d probably be cursing up a storm lol To everyone saying Chellsie for Tokyo...yes, that would be epic, but let’s not forget that there’s more than one definition of success, and she hasn’t told us what her goal is! As far as I’m concerned, one world cup where she gets a skill named after her is a huge enough objective. Or maybe the Worlds 2021 team.

I'm conflicted here (as it sounds her dad might be as well). Gary Olson That’s not actually true though. The vault judges always seem to give a couple extra tenths in execution for the harder vaults, probably because they inherently translate to more height and distance. Having an Amanar is really like having an extra .6 over a double
