Oh my how much fun was that. Thank you for sharing because we get to live vicariously through you both. The music, the peel draw and our adorable Sophie. What more can we ask. Luv from Dee and Ace.

Gold dredges are an amazing bit of engineering and mining history. We toured the Yankee Fork dredge in Custer county , Idaho a few years ago. It is one of the best preserved in the lower 48. Looks like Chickenstock is a great fun time!

They are interesting pieces of engineering for sure. It fascinates me this one could be operational in literally several days.

Years ago I read a book "Tisha" it is an autobiography of a young teacher who went to Chicken Alaska in the 1920's. It is a wonderful read

I must look that one up. Old Alaska history is fascinating and to read about what life would have been back then would be very interesting for sure.

Great fun at the chickenfest, your video captured the event well. The smaller festivals seem friendlier, have more family fun and seem safe - not so some. We have The fabulous Glastonbury in Somerset, West Country. Not been (Seriously expensive!) follow it on T.V. 100,000+ too thronged for crusty old me. ❤️from the ‘old country!’ Phil U.K.🇬🇧

Glad you enjoyed it. I've been sitting here all morning exploring tours for our one full day in London... so much to see with so little time. We must come back and explore more of the "old country"! Can't say enough how excited we are to come and visit the UK. Just wish we had more than 48 hours.

The dredge tour was awesome! Just an FYI, in your opening your date says 2014 🙂. The festival looks so fun! You had really nice weather for it. Thanks for sharing.

@@LivingFreeAlaska Daryls schedule does not allow a lot of free time at the moment, but it will happen one of these days for sure! We aren't going to be able to make it to the meetup. 😥When I commited I was not thinking about the fact that the kids would already be gone. Our 12 year old Shepherd has to have help getting in the truck now and that's gonna be too long of a day for him, and I worry about how the days following would affect him.I hope you guys have a blast though, I was looking forward to meeting everyone! (So was Daryl)
