I had modern-day hospital food for four days recently and it was a good amount of roasted veggies and yeah, those ate delicious. And very cool that Nomad got you an Apple watch to go with their wristbands. I was not really a fan of hall or yard monitors when I was a kid, and it would take awhile for me to wear a monitor, but I could see it and I do appreciate your demonstration of it. And I'm always okay with ads and promotional announcements and I read lots of live 60-second ad copy for the "New Datsun King Cab" when I was Rockin' Robb Syewart at KNBA The Mighty 1190 in Vallejo in '79. 😀

This video really highlights how tough it must be to hit that quantity of calories while sticking to a vegan diet. The sheer amount of food volume/fiber in that meal would absolutely destroy me, you must have an iron gut to eat that much!

As a very beginning female cyclist, this is a genuine question, no shade: do women frequently show up to events like this? do women's inter-gender relative ability level have to be a tier above the men they ride with to hang in a 'spicy' ride? at least in zwift, i find myself working well above the advertised wattage to keep up with the group, but i like the comradery of the bigger groups as opposed to the women-only rides which end up being smaller, but seem truer to advertised exertion. any advice besides get good? lol

I don’t weigh it out anymore, that was annoying, but I have so I kinda roughly know how much to track. I also only track when I am battling that line of surplus-deficit. In the summer when I’m burning 5k a day, I don’t need to track anything.
