Very delicious chocolate cake recipe.
A balanced cake, not too sweet that does not require much time in the kitchen.
The top is simple, fluffy and well syruped and super fast chocolate cream.
Bitter chocolate can be used instead of milk chocolate.
It can be ready in less than two hours.
after 2-3 hours in the refrigerator can be served.
However, I recommend if you have time to leave it in the fridge overnight.
You can make the decoration according to your imagination, I chose to leave it as simple as possible, using Ferrero candies.
This cake can also be made in a gluten-free version.
On the counter, use gluten-free flour (I recommend C Schär mix) and gluten-free chocolate cream.
INGREDIENTS
SPONGE CAKE: (24cm)
- 6 eggs
- 100g flour
- 30g cocoa
- 20g cornstarch
- 140g sugar
- 30 ml oil
- 3g baking powder
- a pinch of salt
CREAM:
- 500g whipped cream (cold) unsweetened
- 250g mascarpone
- 250g melted and cooled milk chocolate
- rum essence (optional)
SYRUP:
- water
- old
- rum essence
FINISHING AND DECOR:
- 200g milk chocolate
- 80g whipped cream
- 60g butter
- Ferrero candies
- gold food coloring (optional)
