i find it fascinating that back sleeping makes apnea worse and yet it’s what’s recommended for safe sleeping for infants

i'ive done so much research and arrived to the conclusion that the hybrid one should be the best . sometimes I sleep on the the back more of the time I am a side sleeper. I have the feeling I should choose the hybrid one and I need a mask that cover the nostril and the mouth. but I still don'k know

I don’t see one that hold the jaw which is the most important one also can I attach this mask to any machine?

There's a jaw strap that can be ordered to add to the face headgear but most users don't require one.

For 10 years I have have these strange symptoms of waking up with no energy in my body every 2 weeks or so. It lasts a day or two and no tests can reveal anything. Can it actually be from not having ny strap on tight enough?

My fitness watch has a function that tests my o2 overnight while sleeping. I found out that when my mask was loose, my o2 levels dropped into the 80's at times during the night. I tightened it up and was about 90 all night. Mine is a ten year old garmin watch. Maybe you could borrow a friends to see if you're o2 is dropping at night. I'm not a doctor, so just take it as my experience.

@@robbyddurham1624 I have samsung watch 6 and my mask was tightened fast, and it shows 95-100% o2 levels but still the leak is showing as 24 l/min. Compared it with yesterday, o2 levels were like 85% for a min, and the mask was not so tight. Now, I don't know whether it is the cushion or the head strap, it is n20 nasal mask.

Your CPAP supplier should be able to ship you 6 nasal pillows for a 3-month supply and these are covered by most health insurance companies. Just like replacing your toothbrush every 3 months or so, you have to replace your face masks to avoid infection!

Get help as soon as you can. I’ve had sleep apnea for years and never did anything about it since I was still young and didn’t really affect me until now where I feel extremely exhausted every day and was affecting my cognitive health and pretty sure the reason to why I have high blood pressure too. Luckily my insurance covers 75% of the cost and I just started using one yesterday so I’m hoping I’ll see positive results soon.
