This was such an interesting take on the movie! I had watched the movie and thought the same thing. I actually liked the movie because it reminded me that accomplishments and worldly things aren’t fulfilling and can leave us feeling empty when we place our identity in them. It made me realize to be appreciative of the everyday blessings God gives us and made me feel so happy because I know my identity is Jesus and I can live my purpose and be fulfilled through him alone! 😁 This was such an amazing video!!

Much appreciated insight. As a fellow Christian myself, despite the suspiciously odd mentions of Chakras and Questionable Spirituality, I'd say this is one of PIXAR's Best films to date. I'm fascinated that people have the capacity to create Art like this and the Philosophy behind leaves many to reflect on not taking life for granted and considering their own significance. I myself seek out Existential discussions in Animated Media since it not only leads to more mature thoughts and growth but also to entice that deep yearning we all have for the Son of God himself, Jesus Christ.

As a Christian, I have a problem with people saying that movies like Soul and Coco are bad for kids to watch because they get false ideas of heaven and the gospel. In that case, why let them watch any fiction or non-fiction film or interact with people of different religions as children? I think that its ok to have your children interact within the space of the world as long as the gospel is being taught to them from a young age.
@animationfan957

I got a really bad feeling from the start when I watched this movie. It was very occultish and New Age inspired. I would never allow my kids to watch it, and I don’t believe that any kids should watch without adult supervision. I usually like Pixar movies - and I’m a huge Disney fan. But their last three movies have all been about necromancy. Cocco, Onward and Soul. They’re all about contacting the dead and claming that everyone goes to a good place after death and that there is no God.
@paulalabastida3637

Although I agree on Soul and Onward. Coco is really tied to the Hispanic tradition. The majority of Mexicans are Catholic and understand that hell and heaven are real. The traditions seen in Coco are about remembering your ancestors which is huge in our culture.

@@paulalabastida3637 I get that. But the movie is still about necromancy. And it’s a pagan tradition that has no support or foundation in the Bible. It’s not good. The fact that it has connections to Catholicism isn’t really surpirsing. Roman Catholicism isn’t Christianity, it’s just Roman polytheism dressed up as Christianity, sprinkled with a bunch of new traditions and false teachings. They’ve basically just transfered the characteristics of the old roman ”gods” to the saints. And they’ve turned Mary into a false god.
@harryfyer5286

@@animationfan957 Actually Ma’am you are false, Catholics do not worship Mary, the mother of our Lord, but they actually ask her to intercede for them since she has a close relationship with Jesus of course and absolutely no one says or a worships her as “a god.” Saints in the Bible refers to them as holy men that are Christian, such as the disciples of Jesus. I might of left some things out, but don’t Splatter random things if you’re not informed because people can really be mislead, anyways we’re all The followers of Jesus Christ so there no need for negativity, and may God bless you.

Please ask God for clarity. The Catholic Church is in deception with many idols. Praying to Mary is no different than praying to any of the dead soldiers of Christ throughout all of history. And I suppose I should clarify one thing- I do not believe they are “dead” right now, rather asleep until the resurrection of the saints where they will be alive forever. I only say dead to illustrate what it is you are doing. There are several verses about necromancy and how it is a sin, this is the practice of communicating with the dead. This is what is being done in the Catholic and many Orthodox churches. Come out of her my people!

@liyaaa101
2 жыл бұрын
@@SwordTune Hey there, Im not God, but I can try to answer as best as I can. I believe that life and all that we do with it is a reflection of worship, everything is made by Him for His glory. Just like when you see an amazing painting at an art gallery, it will reflect that there was a talented painter behind it. So its not like He's begging for souls to worship Him, He already Is. He doesnt hate homosexuals, but He hates the act, which would be contrary to His design and plan for all of us. Its as if an engineer made a piece of tech and was upset it didnt work the way he designed it to work. As a result of sin entering this world, yeah we as humans do fail time and time again, but thankfully God doesnt subject us to eternal condemnation despite all our failures - instead, He gave us a saviour in Jesus Christ. Its a result of people not accepting this gift, that they fall into darkness. Its like becoming sick, and then you refuse to go to the doctor, then you die. You cant complain, I mean you were offered health care right? If God is ultimate light and truth, and you go against that light, you walk with darkness. Thats logical right? Hell was never a place meant for us. It was meant for satan and his demons. He gave us free will yes, but He desires for us to use that free will for good. He loves us too much to force us to him. Its like, would you rather receive love from a robot you programmed to love you forever, or someone who *chooses* to love you? Which is a better love? Actually, better question - which is actual love? Yes Humans easily mess things up, but thats why He sent a truthful guide - the Holy Spirit - to help us know when we're on the right path and guide us into all Truth. And it was those people - those filled with the Holy Spirit who wrote the scriptures. And its been pretty accurate so far if I do say so myself. I mean, idk what more evidence Christians need to show for people to see that there IS a God. Jesus performed literal miracles back in the day, but still people didnt believe. If you dont believe, thats fine, free will exists, but im afraid you'll have to answer to Him if He does, and thats not something I would wish upon my worst enemy. Not sure about the superiority complex part, if its true that there is one God, and only THE God - wouldnt that make Him superior to all the other gods? Would you still say thats a superiority complex? (which im assuming has a negative connotation) Lastly, God doesnt have to answer to anything. The same God who commands the sun to rise every morning, who can calm a storm with a word, and created the stars to shine upon us in the darkness of night - why would such a perfect God have to answer to such imperfect souls? We're the ones who have to answer to Him. Anyway, those are my two cents.

Basically the movie soul is to not take life for granted. Not everyday is promise. Life goes on fast. Enjoy life while you have it. Not just that we all have a purpose, life can be rocks and dust sometimes. But your not a mistake. Things you go through don’t blame yourself. You see Job did the same thing, but he never blamed GOD. He always had faith in GOD. The enemy will lie to you and make you feel like you a mistake, your not worth it, your useless.. But the truth is you have a purpose you just have to believe in that purpose. Not Just that you see when He got what He wanted, he thought selfishly. He realize all his life he wanted that one thing and that it was not enough. Later on he felt some type of way. He wanted to help number 22 out and realize she do have a purpose. But the enemy kept tell her she didn’t. But you see He talk to her and everything was back to what it was. I learned allot from that movie and felt crazy chills. Glory to GOD for sending this beautiful text towards you. This not me but GOD. GOD Bless❤️🔥 I wouldn’t be able to interpret that movie if it wasn’t for GOD giving me knowledge.❤️🔥🕊

Nice video. I don't know if y'all know but we aren't supposed to be watching television because it is a door for the enemy to enter in your life. As well as movies in general, in my opinion what happens when making movies is that they make the theme or the intended message of the movie extremely positive so it will seem harmless so we can miss the small hidden details or simple action that advertise ungodliness which will mess up your spiritual life. Since we continue watching, it's like we accept the bad things they are doing unknowingly because we would be focused on the good parts of the movie. With that we can easily become manipulated by the enemy. Hopefully this makes sense to y'all, am just trying to tell y'all what God told me. If y'all are confused a bit don't worry pray about it and he will show you what am talking about, God bless

Hey I am a fellow Christian too. I was wondering if you were able to give me a scripture telling us where we can’t watch television? I’m not trying to be judgements or to come across as rude but I thought that the Holy Spirit can convict you of things that YOU personally shouldn’t be doing because it might affect you a specific type of way because we are all different. I’m not talking about sinning because that is for all human beings but I think that there are some things that the Holy Spirit convicts you on because He know how it can affect you. I think there are Christians who do watch tv because not everything has an evil message to it and also not everyone is influenced by the same things. Some Christians find it difficult to watch shows about romance without feeling lustful or lonely while others can because they haven’t experienced it before or maybe because they don’t know what it feels like so their reaction is different. Others watch sports or interviews or entertainment shows. I don’t think it is bad as long as you are not being convicted by those things and as long as you are not idolizing or prioritizing them over God. Again I’m not trying to be rude or anything, I still have a lot to learn too but I’m just confused on what you are trying to say☺️

The existence of the soul as a separate entity of existence is a pagan idea that infiltrated the church as the scripture was locked to the walls of monasteries. There is no soul just God's breath and dust that became a living soul. Job 27:3 says "All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils". God's breath is in your nostrils. There is no point in the resurrection if there is a soul. The resurrection of Lazarus was the cruelest thing that happened to him if there is a soul. This belief opens the door to the devil and he will appear as an angel or as a deceased loved one. Just like "Samuel" appeared to Saul. This was his last sin. God bless you in studying the scripture.

The idea of “every single day being a gift” and that kind of malarkey is how the world system copes with their hopelessness. To them, it gives them some kind of relief to the monotony of daily life while distorting the real truth that we were made for GOD, to live in submission to Him and under His loving providence in a personal relationship with Him. It should not be praised or advocated this self deception but refuted. It sounds to me like this guy is advocating this universal theme and barely refuting it. I subscribed to Christian channels but being a Christian for 40 years, I still disagree with some things but not all things that my brothers and sisters in Christ post. I may have taken what He said in the wrong way because that has and does happen in our search for the truth but it seems to me in this instance that he is not slamming this Idea to the ground and stomping on it as it should be.

There is one god and he is not man. And there is no savior Isaiah 43:11 Numbers 23:19 Zechariah 8:23 Nothing about human sacrifice or blood for atonement. Follow the commandments. It's ironic because to be a Christian you must break the first 4 commandments of the ten. No other gods before me, idol worship, name in vain and sabbath. The PHILOSOPHY that Yeshu taught was based in Kabbalah. I think it's a good parable that teaches us compassion and meditation. But to cover yourself in blood on the astral plain to hide from God, while doing ritualistic cannibalism in the form of communion is actually black Magick and comes from old pagn rituals. I've always understood the verse to be no one comes to the father except through I am. The translation isn't through me but through I am. You know like I am that I am. YHVH יהוה. Which more properly translated into I am god with you. Having a basic understanding of hebrew helps when studying Hebrew based theology. You realize the gospels were written 50+ years after the death of Yeshu right? That's kind of hard to be accurate of a first hand acount after that much time. I know your programing and bias will make you fight this logic, but if you took a step back and looked at the big big picture. Understand philosophy, history, maybe some mysticism, some Magick, some Kabbalah. The pieces fall into place and you can see the big lie for what it is. I was a Christian for over 20 years. My father was a pastor and so was I. After years of study and research the cracks in the religon really started to show. Have you read any of the verses I provided? Anything to say about those. Also paul was a liar. He tells you he is lying. Rom 3:7. 2 cor 12:16 act 21:27-28 is blantantly anti Torah. He totally warps the verses in Deuteronomy 27:26 when he's talking in gal 3:10

@@frankstanley8499 No, Jesus' 'sacrifice' is not in the same context, nor is it anything about black magic. Anyone with that idea is blind to the whole existence and even the death of Christ. Yes, Christianity may have become distorted from misinterpreted and shrouded teachings. Christ is the embodiment of God's word, his 'flesh' is the scripture and his 'blood' is the spirit. These must NOT be mistaken for representation of his actual flesh and blood. John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. The metaphors for Christ's blood and flesh are not metaphors for his own physical counterparts, but for the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Even the sacrifice of animals wasn't merely for bloodshed either, since the sacrifice would represent that we have offered something of value to God. We had to sacrifice something from ourselves to show our reverence of God and out of our own humility, but the people have come to use these sacrifices artificially, believing that merely the bloodshed is enough. But it's true repentance through faith and self-reflection that leads to God's mercy. His 'blood and flesh' is the Word and Will of God. John 1:16 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." Also, John 4:34 "Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work." He clearly states that the 'food' is also not his literal flesh and the drink, not his literal blood in John 6:63. He was a martyr, and you would hardly call a martyr a 'human sacrifice', yet His martyrdom is a parabole for sacrifice, but not one of human bloodshed but of the human in relation to the Word of God. His death was a 'sacrifice' of His own life, as a parabole of our own lives being sacrificed, not necessarily in death, but to sacrifice our worldly desires for that of spirituality and God. The 'blood' of Jesus represents the Word and any Christian and non-Christian that interprets it as the literal blood does not listen to the Word. Proverbs 4:20-22 says: “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Even Paul, who you love to scrutinize states in Rom 12-12: "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Also your criticisms are heresy at best, for you misquote and falsify your claims by twisting the Word: Paul never declares that he is lying! He condems lying and excusing it as 'righteousness'. The full verse of Rom 3:1-8 "What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? 2 Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God. 3 What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? 4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.”[a] 5 But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.) 6 Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? 7 Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” 8 Why not say-as some slanderously claim that we say-“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!" It should be obvious to anyone who studies the verse, that he condemns untruthful practice! It may be misunderstood at first, but then you aren't learning from his words. He claims that God's righteousness is most prevalent in the retribution of sinners because it amplifies God's merciful glory. But those who twist these teachings as 'sin that leads to God's righteousness are good sin' are to be condemned for they preach false teachings. This is what Paul states, not that he is a liar, nor that lying is good at all. --- The same goes for your other quoted scripture, which leads me to believe that haven't done as intensive an amount of research that you claim. But, merely a surface level skimming to only reinforce your own confirmation bias, which is merely a falsification of scripture!
