Superb unit, great ambient sound. Thank you very much for sharing this jewel.

Even with all its faults, the car was fantastic. My dad had a 1015, then a 1220 Club, then a GSA X3. He gave me the last one to buy a BX 16, and foolish as i was when young, i crashed this X3 in a stupid mistake. Thank you for taking such good care of her!

Yes, the challenge for me of a perfectly functioning Citroen GS is to plan 1 week of vacation every 2 years for the service. Renew the timing belt, adjust the valves and ignition (every 10,000 km) and lots of small work. A GS is very labor-intensive, unlike the CX GTI Turbos that I used to drive, but whose potential can no longer be exploited today and which have extreme consumption.

Just look at those fab instruments. In the UK, the dialsWere more conventional.

Citroën also made a version of the GS with a two rotor Wankel engine called Birotor. It was a cooperation with NSU and they used an upgraded version of the Ro 80 engine, but this project failed. They only produced 847 of those between 1973 and 1975. It was expensive and unreliable.
