@@insomnia610 - Except that she was an *employee* of a newspaper that he *owned!* I think that Lois got too accustomed to being such a star reporter that, for her, this in many ways a bigger grievance than all the supervillain stuff he did. Lois is quite aggressive when she is in reporter mode, and her flaw is that she is not objective. For example, she would have gotten more mileage challenging the legality of Ally feeding her converts hallucinogens to gain their compliance (which is *extremely* illegal IRL) versus focusing on her sister's story, which made it personal and called her journalistic integrity into question. Other than when Lois is shrieking at her sons, the angriest that we've seen her is when her stories get disputed.

I didn’t expect Tal Rho’s redemption arc to continue in this episode. My only quibble with this is that I want him to make amends with all the people he hurt, not just Clark and Lois. He caused at least one person to die, completely erased that Leslie’s character’s real identity (she’s still in prison right??), and probably caused a lot of people to have PTSD. I truly hope the show has him try to make amends in some way instead of him only caring about people he views as important to Superman. I know this is baby steps but I hope it’s not like “okay he said sorry, everything is good now!” Also, how did Clark get him out of the holding cell?
@femalerevan

I agree. I don't want it to be easy forgiveness for Tal either. That's cheap storytelling. I hope it's slow because what's interesting about Tal Rho rn is that he's ambiguous and it's a wild card to have someone like that on the side of Lois/Clark who are definite good guys. People don't change overnight even ones with so much time to think about where they went wrong. So it's the right step that he only promises he won't hurt anyone Lois cares about again and not that he won't hurt anyone ever. One of the best things about Superman is his belief in humanity and a Superman show should depict Superman inspiring others too. DBZ fans used to joke about Goku, the main character, turning all the villains he beat into good guys through his interactions with them. Superman is a more inspirational character than Goku and I want to see him inspire people on this show.
