Hey Burt. It's a 74 Glen Campbell Signature 1118. What kind did you have and how much did you sell it for. The one I got is in excellent shape. It's all original and came with the original case. A few people told me I could get $1500 to $2000 for it (the last two that sold on reverb went for $1900 and $1700 but that was a couple of years ago). Another guy told me it's worth about $600. And a fourth guy told me that the GC 1118 12 was selling for $500 until Glen died. After that, prices skyrocketed. I ask because I may sell the Ovation, Takamine, and Taylor and get a high end Taylor. Mark

@@8MinuteAxe Yes, Stanley wrote it, but Criss sang it. Stanley though sounds great singing it, as he did on their Unplugged show. I prefer it over "Beth." I also love hearing Criss on "Dirty Livin'" from Dynasty and "Baby Driver" on Rock and Roll Over. "Black Diamond" is a good one as well. His duet with Gene on "Nothin' to Lose" is another favorite. I just like the roughness of his voice, plus I like bands that rotate singers, even though Criss didn't sing that much.

I always thought it was Criss until just this week. I guess the fact that I dont remember what Peter Criss's speaking voice sounds like and I'm used to hearing Paul's heavy NY accent and since I hear the accent in the vocal part I reassessed. Destroyer is one of my favorite albums (top 50 all time) but other than that, I can take or leave Kiss. One of the guys that is an avid fan of the channel graduated high school last May. I am anxious to hear this list! A while back you mentioned one of the often cited "drawbacks" to 12-string was that they were hard to finger pick (I am not asserting you believed this). I have lots of 12-string songs in my repertoire that I finger pick - If You Could Read My Mind, My Sweet Lady (and most other John Denver and Gordon Lightfoot classics), A Pirate Looks at 40, Son of a Son of a Sailor, The Wedding Song...

Hey Pete. If I used the word drawback it must have been in January of 2021 when I was really focusing on fingerstyle and the fact that I couldn't marry my channel to the specific style that I was devoting so much time to was frustrating. If not for that darned third string. So many 12 stringers don't even realize that more than half the time they aren't articulating both strings in the set. I'm guilty of it all the time. I'll do a take, think it sounds great, and then realize that I'm not hearing the consistency I need. I hope you and your family have a happy and healthy new year. Please take care and be well. Mark

@@8MinuteAxe I took it as more you reporting on the commonly cited issues; I think you mentioned the old Pete Seeger adage "I spend half my time tuning it and the rest of my time playing it out of tune." @@8MinuteAxe A) You make good videos that I like to watch. B) You give a guy a Vangoa 12 string guitar, and you've got a friend! :)

@8 Minute Axe No problem Mark, you deserve a compliment. I've been entertaining on stage since 1967. I added a Martin 12 string to my collection about 3 years ago after looking for one that has that "magic feeling" for years. Played it for 5 minutes then bought it on the spot with goose bumps. Since then I've been looking for 12 string songs for my 12 string set and your selection helped a lot! Thank you. 🤗

LOL. Hey Stephen. I gave my brother the ovation and I sold the Guild, the Rick, and the Ibanez...but I bought a Taylor 562 So I believe I have 12 (13 if you count the double neck) I need to start selling some. Before my channel I only owned 5 guitars total. Thanks so much for checking out the video. I really appreciate it. I hope you have a great day. Mark

It's Racquel. The largest concentration of my viewers are between 45-65. Even though I'm on the lower end of that I'm a big fan of all things 70s.

Racquel Welch. Many consider her one of the best looking women ever. A little before my time. I grew up in the age of the supermodel...Cindy Crawford, Iman, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista.
