This is the Pentair FNS Plus filter -- the plus stands for "Plus frustration" ;) In this video I show you a simple way to clean this filter and how to troubleshoot the clamp and how to find where a possible D.E. leak is coming from.
I have a video I filmed last year that covers in good detail how to inspect the grids and find the leaking one, here is that video and skip to the 2:41 mark to see me take it apart:

I also have a video that goes over how much D.E. to add based on your filter size:

I didn't spend a lot of time in this video on taking the grids apart since it is already have a video that covers the well and in detail. I did take some time in this video talking about the clamp and showing you how to get some slack to put the Spring Barrel Nut back on. In some cases (typically older filters) once you get the clamp off you will have trouble getting it back on. Here I show you a couple of tricks that I use. You may need to replace the clamp if it is giving you trouble each time you take it off...
Here are some parts you may need to order for your filter:
59023700 Manifold, top w/air bleed -- white part on top
59001100 Grid, full FNS 24, 12 in., 7 req. -- full size grid, there are seven of these
59001800 Grid, full FNS 36, 18 in., 7 req.
59002400 Grid, full FNS 48, 24 in., 7 req.
59003000 Grid, full FNS 60, 30 in., 7 req.
59001000 Grid, partial FNS 24, 12 in., 1 req. -- half size grids, one of these
59001700 Grid, partial FNS 36, 18 in., 1 req.
59002300 Grid, partial FNS 48, 24 in., 1 req.
59002900 Grid, partial FNS 60, 30 in., 1 req.
190003 Pentair Filter Belly Band Clamp Kit -- clamp that holds the filter together
53108900 Spring/ Barrel Nut Assembly -- nut and spring that you tighten on the clamp
39010200 Pentair O-Ring -- black tank o-ring
076033 Knob Clamping Band -- the black knob I use in the video to create slack it is

So again, you are welcome to take the filter completely apart but they are no fun to rebuild. I usually have to take two or three of these apart each time I am doing my filter cleaning cycle to replace broken grids. Last month I took four apart that had D.E. leaks and in all four the partial grid was leaking.
The grids should last at least five years before they start to develop any holes or cracks. With regular cleaning your filter will last much longer.
If you have any questions feel free to post a comment and I will be happy to answer it for you
