Look at Charlie helping watch the baby even though he's feeling sickly. You are so lucky to have someone who supports you in whatever ways he can...even if it's just laying on the floor to keep Ike entertained while you escape up the stairs with clothes.

My dearest, Remi! You and I could be the best of friends! I have been so depressed, like can't get out of bed depressed. Then I showed my husband of 20 years, yes he sat through the whole video😂, of you cleaning the bathroom telling your childhood stories about snails and spiders. Actually when he heard you say that you were a "feral child" he looked at me and smiled. He agreed, "you all are A LOT alike" 😂 Down to the Coca Cola. He actually really likes your videos and your personality! I used to watch all our sons sleep. I'd go on and out of all 3 rooms to make sure they were breathing like a stalker. If they could've seen me there hovering over their little beds. I never got much sleep. I have/had such bad anxiety around their health. I'm in the US and gave up on cleaning motivation videos until I found yours! 🙏 You are an absolute delight to watch and listen to! The love that you have for Charlie and your precious baby boys warms my heart so much! Thank you Remi for being you! I know you say if you "helped one person" well you have definitely helped me and so many others! I just know it! You my dear are a blessing to everyone that has the opportunity to have you in their lives! Again, thank you, Remi! I'm sending love and prayers to you all. 🙏 ❤❤❤❤❤️ May Onion rest in peace as well, my love. ❤️🕊️

Today, my daughter and I did a power hour. She's 11 and on summer break now. In an hour we were able to do the dishes, clean the counters/stove, fold a load of laundry, clean a bathroom, vacuum the kitchen and high traffic areas, take out the trash and deal with the recycling. It was very satisfying to get it all done and while there's other things that could be done in the house, we felt accomplished and rewarded ourselves by hanging out the rest of the day together. :) Power hours are great because it really motivates us to be focused and productive. Great job on your power hour!

So, I just wanted to thank you for your videos. I live in chaos because my whole life I have not known where to start - I just looked at it and thought "faff it, there's a book that wants reading. I'll do that." Tidying up just made me want to go to sleep. Then along you come and the first thing I hear is "executive indecision" and I was amazed to hear that's a thing. Knowing it's not just me , that others are the same is a big step forward in dealing with my messiness. Twice this week I have thought of you and it has motivated me. I hoovered when I got home one evening (rare as hen's teeth) and I tackled a pile of washing up the evening I created it. Didn't lie to myself that I'd do it in the morning. Carry on with the vids as long as they help you too.

Ive found putting the laundry away has always been a difficult thing to keep on top of too. One tip that helps me to enjoy the process and change my mindset a little is by incorporating mindfulness into it. What is it about folding the clothes that you enjoy in the moment? For me it's mainly the smell of freshly laundered clothes, but also enjoying the feel of the fabrics as you fold them, looking at a neatly folded pile, folding them nicely like Marie Kondo (if time allows lol) I find it so much less of a chore by choosing to see what's actually good about it. Yes there are a million other things we'd rather be doing 😂 but we can enjoy even the little things about laundry too can't we❤ Your videos are a breath of fresh air to me. And so motivating. I'm definitely put off by the thought of not completing everything and you help me to do what I can and be kind to myself. Thank you ❤

Your videos help motivate me to try and do better and not stress if I can't get everything done in one go. I find that if I make myself fold laundry as it comes out of the dryer, I don’t wind up with my former baskets filled or overflowing or with clothes waiting to be folded on the bed or couch. Since you are able to hang yours out to dry outside (nothing like fresh, sun-dried laundry!), could you fold as you take items off the line & put them in the basket already folded? Just a thought. Remy, I just discovered you, and I love your videos! I'm 75, and I've had the same "disease" all of my life which you have. I have been creative, intelligent, talented, and interested all of my life, but I can't do well with house-keeping for some reason; it's got something to do with the "wiring" in my brain. Your videos inspire me to keep on trying. I can organize little boxes of stuff and drawers of oddities, but I can't organize my apartment! I think, "Oh, Lord, don't let me die while my apartment looks like this!" Then, I am stymied about how to do anything significant about it. I like your idea of putting only a couple of attainable chores on my "To Do" list instead of a long, daunting list that is unrelated to reality. Thank you for your efforts.

I love how you take moments in time to do whatever you can to do what has to be done. Grief is such an intense emotion it is as intense as the love you have for the one you lost. You never actually “get over” the loss. It just becomes a part of who you are because they are a part of who you are as the love, experiences and memories you share. You will always have that with them. Your life for them never leaves you, but it does change, evolve into what you will be because you will continue to be you and they are a part of who you will be. You will be able to tell what you learned to others and let them learn, laugh and love because of her too. ❤

Kate, I like your write-up you obviously have lost one or more in death. I could totally relate this year, but if you had talked to me back in 2021 I hadn't lost anyone in death in years and years and years, maybe even decades. But last year I had five deaths in my family 😢😮 My Mom died in November she was the last one last year 💔💔💔💔 She was also the hardest one to take.💔💔🥴😓 But I am trying to push myself up and over the wall that has erected itself in front of me. That's why I am happy 😅 I found Remy's videos yesterday. I am hoping they will motivate me to clean my bedroom today. 😊It seems like an unsurmountable obstacle to be able to accomplish it. I am a Bible reader 📖 and a believer in the scriptures. I thank God everyday that I am one, because without the promises of the Resurrection I would be lost. You may or may not know these scriptures in the Bible but they have helped me to have faith in seeing my loved ones again here on this Earth. (Psalm 37: 9~11, 22, 29, 34) RESURRECTION Hope Scriptures 🔻 (Isaiah 26:19,; ACTS 24:15,; John 5:28,29,; also 11:11~44,; Revelation 21:3,4) Having faith in God's word grows as we read daily in the Bible.❤ But I have to agree with you that the death of someone that you love so much does become a part of who you are. You don't go back to being the way you were before you lost them. Now that my Mom and Dad are both sleeping in death, My core family is nearly gone.😮 My oldest sister also died last year she was the one who started the year off in January 😢 So I have my sister Julie and my half Brothers John David, and Mark, and that's the remaining core family.🎉 I'm happy to say I have five children 4 Sons and 1 Daughter. Two grandsons 6 and 2 months, and one 16 year old granddaughter.❤ Thanks for the listening ear. I'm afraid I got carried away 😁😊 Sincerely TAMI 🙋🏼💞😇🏵️

@@tamitatangoto5134 I am so glad my words gave you solace. I have indeed lost a lot of people that I love. But I keep them in my heart and I know that the ones that had Jesus in their hearts I will see again. My profession was in geriatric care and I love every single person I cared for as much as I learned from them. The wisdom of their years were precious to me. If not for Jesus to lean on in the difficult times than how does one cope? Every day has a gift of joy from our Heavenly Father. Our job is to seek it and rejoice in it and lean on Him when we are given times of trial. One of the best things I learned from a woman born in Ireland and at 18 sailed from Ireland the very next ship that sailed after the Titanic sang is that when a loved one goes to heaven they watch over you. If you can be at peace with their going Home you may see them through the clouds watching over you. I love a cloudy day. I can see those I love, including my pets, watching me in the clouds. She told me that a blue sky is boring. The loves you loose are watching through the clouds. Praise God when you see them. Also, when I go to church, I am not only going to be with Jesus, I am with those that have gone on before me as they are with Jesus. I am comforted by being that close. When I do as scripture says, I am working my way towards heaven’s reward that one day I may be with those I love. You are blessed with your children and grandchildren. Bless them with the wisdom your years have given to you and watch them live their lives with what you shared. Let them make mistakes as that is the best lesson. Comfort them when they ask. Help them learn from their mistakes and grow wise. You may have lost many, but you are still among the living. Don’t give up on the for the loss of those who have earned their rewards and gone on before you. Be blessed every day. 🙏🏼🤗

I really enjoy your videos. I have several mental issues and my home has suffered from it. I have been following some of your suggestions and my home is starting to look better. Thank you for being so down to earth.

I, too, am a all or nothing person, and what you said about it is not serving me well hit home. I need to just follow your example. And I love laundry, lol. I love folding it and making it tidy. I think because it's the only thing that stays tidy for longer than 15 minutes when you have littles running around.

Thank you so much for your honesty. Watching you get your house done it's giving me encouragement to get mine done too. I'm sorry to hear about your dog, I've been there and I remember what it was like so I pray you find peace very soon ❤️

Love to watch, but I also love to listen to your stories. I tried to watch a video earlier while my boyfriend was watching a show so I had it on silent. I was great, but not the same!! Thanks for sharing your life with us!!

In your videos are so many aspects of life taken account for. And done so with compassion. I like it and watch these often. As a messy, soon to be granny person I get reminders how to tacle some issues and learn new attitudes to try from these. Besides its just nice to watch the children and animals, normal Life in your videos. Thank you .
