As an old guitar picker from Louisiana, I sit here with tears in my eyes over the loss of Waylon Jennings. He was extra nice to me and he didn't have to be. He loved all his fans and musicians alike. I thank God for loaning me Waylon when I was first learning to play professionally. I spent many a day with him just pickin and learning new riffs from him. His Wife, Mrs. Jessi was tops as well. I still keep in touch with her and Shooter. Ladies and Gentlemen, Waylon Jennings, THE finest man and Musician I ever had the honor of playing behind! I pray I will see him once again when my time comes. We love you Brother!

He came to a casino up the road 5 or 6 years ago. My cousins wife mentioned he was coming, but the tickets were too high. I owed them a favor and bought 4 tickets, because I knew he might not come through again. The tickets total was over $1000 and Hank didn't play any nonsense. They all decline around 70. Definitely one of the best.

We were just talking about that very thing. Though, I'd add strait, Johnson and Reba to the list, but it's sure growing short, those old outlaw types from the 70s. Breaks my heart 💔 to have lived to see it and the world today.

For all his reputation as a hell-raiser, sounds like when Bocephus was in the pew, he paid attention. We are all prisoners for Christ, and thank God for that. I listen to this performance over and over again. Thanks, Hank.

I loved Waylon and his music. I have probably about 25 albums of him from the 1970's to 1990's. I use to listen to them often. To me he was the very best that has ever been in my lifetime. Thank you for sharing.
