The 80's in Australia were incredible for live music. Jimmy was totally pissed the entire show but didn't miss a beat. It will never be repeated - amazing to look back on it now and realise how lucky we were.

Hi, around 1988 Jimmy was to put on a concert in Karratha, Western Australia. It’s located in the North West, with extreme temperatures, and when it rained it flooded. People had to travel hundreds of miles to get there, on dirt roads. So many had to swim in the creeks, got bogged etc. They had to cancel Saturday nights concert because of that rain. Jimmy had to leave early the next day but, he heard of the all the drama people faced to get there. Management told him he had to leave Sunday morning and Jimmy refused to leave early. He said after all they went through to get here they will see a concert, he left late Sunday night. What a great down to earth bloke.
