UPDATE* Two months now, I have been using this cane daily as my, main cane. Two months I have been relying on this cane heavily to help get me from point “A” to point “B”. And for two months this cane has surpassed any and all expectations. It’s such a simple yet functional design. It’s sturdy, reliable, and discreet. I trimmed about an inch off to fit my height. I originally was just going to use it every once in a while, and rely on my other canes. But this cane has proven to be my best one. Never mind the sword (which is spectacular) I plan on buying one or two more. One for going out, and another for backup. The aluminum housing gets knicked up and chips away at the paint. But that’s to be expected with any cane. I love it

im a 30 year old man, use to be super able bodied person. had some shit happen in a farming mishap, now I rely on a cane. I dont always need it, I can walk without much pain or a limp most times, but with more and more use, I am beginning to come to the realization that I can live with close to no pain, and no limp, if I use a cane. that being said.. ive bought a sword cane in the past, spent a pretty penny. it was junk. had very good reviews, and I realIy dont understand how. the cane was not functional at all as a cane, and the sword was absolute garbage. im awaiting delivery of this one, its coming Thursday, Watching this dude throw it around and even taking out one of the o-ring anchors and still showing how strong the connection is to the housing; I have high hopes for this. thanks for the vid man, and thanks for not editing out your misses, hahaha. makes it so much more authentic.

A bit late to the party 😊 I have one of these. I live in Ohio and it gets cold! So, I modified mine a touch. My O rings died, so, i just wrapped a layer of gorilla tape . Wrapped the main shaft with athletic tape and cut 3 inches off the shaft and added cotton to the bottom to eliminate blade rattle. 12 years and still going! 😁

Wow. That’s an excellent sword cane. I’m in britain so of course, like everything else, this would be illegal. A sword cane in britain must be over 100 years old and that’s just to OWN it. You could not walk around outside with the antique sword cane. 👍

i just wish cold steel would put some sort of authenticity brand mark on this cane. i bought a second one off a different website because i like to use and have an unused one, and the size, weight and almost everything is identical except the paint job is not glossy, the blade isn't mirror polished and rubber foot is way softer. my first one is exactly like yours. but now i'm not sure if i got ripped off, or if cold steel is just making them different. brand mark would be nice.

I love mine. I’ve had it for as long as they’ve been on the market less 1 year. I wish to thank you for the idea of removing a ring. The thing that I dislike the most is the effort it takes to draw along with an audible pop. My canes with a release button are faster and quieter.

@@elsullo2 Your message is noted, and while not advocating anyone to go against the law I’ll say the following. With my edc cane I’ve had numerous contacts with two and four legged dogs alike. Those canes while set up for combat still fall under the international law that allows me to carry a cane anywhere. I’ve been to stick fighting school and was taught by professionals. Where was the first cop when needed? As for sword canes, I’ve used them in two encounters. The first was walking down the mountain at night two dogs, similar to Dobermans but slightly larger, tried to make sport of me. That night I was carrying a Knob Handle Windlass sword cane. I used the blade on one and the other with the scabbard. Believe me when I say that I was glad to have that cane that night. Another time was on finding a snake in the kitchen. I pinned him with the scabbard and decapitated with the blade of my Horn Handle Windlass sword cane. Where were the police in both of those cases? I find the police excellent at showing up after the fact, but where were they in the time of need? I was born in the ‘30s and taught to take care of myself as opposed to the younger generation that have been taught to call someone to take care of matters for me.

Try a walking stick. Some sticks have a knob, metal head or other things on them. I saw a German walking stick with a top that looked like a hoe on one side and a spike on the other side. All integrated into one metal head. It was a vintage German walking stick.
