I too adored this most handsome man...Tyrone. I am 89 years old, and always watch his films. What a lovely personality, adorable. A dream of a man! Love you still Tyrone. Xxxx. Xxxxx

Coleen is such a lovely lady! She's still as charming as she was in Nightmare alley. She still has that winsome way about her. Thank you for this post.

God what a film. Loved the way e could pull one in simply by beginning...I see a boy running in a field with his dog.... When he was in serious films he was able to show depths of his talent. I liked almost all the films I ever saw him in including the fluff.

Pius Twelvetrees: Neither do I. He was a marvelous man. He was a good son, a good brother, a good friend and an affectionate father with his two daughters. And surely he would have been very happy if he could have met his son that was born two months later that he died! A real shame! Also, he was a great actor, despite what his detractors said. I completely agreed with Miss Gray, he was a handsome man and a talented actor, too! And he was nothing problematic to work! When he died so early, King Vidor, the director of the Tyrone's last movie (unfinished), "Solomon and Sheba", said: "The death of Ty left me wirh a wound that never healed!

I saw an interview with his son on Geraldo years ago. I heard he is a nice guy as well. He 's in his 60;'s now with kids of his own. One poster on another tribute stated due to his international appeal, men of multiple ethnic groups are named Tyrone.

Love listening to and observing Coleen Gray's memories of her infatuation with Tyrone Power and later working with him. Lucky lady!

Any list of the top ten best looking actors that did not have tyrone power in it is asinine. As the cover of his bio the last idol proclaimed, a man almost too good looking to be true. He made Errol Flynn look like something the cat threw up. It's too bad he was very loose morally speaking. Yet s true matinee idol if ever there was one.

What a thrill to see Coleen! Somehow, throughout it all, she managed to remain a lovely "class-act!" Given all of her male co-stars, I suspect she could have been mean, regarding their peccadilloes; not Coleen! Thanks so much NoirCitySF for this delightful clip of one of the loveliest ladies in Hollywood!

we talk a lot about natural athletes and we never talk about natural actors. Tyrone Power was a natural actor. I would bet his scenEs did not require numerous takes. it seemed effortless for him which made his roles so believable and pure

I've read somewhere that Tyrone had a photographic mind and that remembering lines for him was quite easy.

@adrianotero7963 I, as well. had heard that about Tyrone's photographic memory. He apparently learned to fly airplanes very easily because of that. It also provides a person with great confidence, which also helps with acting.

Don't miss her in Kiss of Death with Victor Mature. Most unusual in a film noir, to have a narrator be female - it's Coleen Gray who begins the picture, telling the audience the way "Nick went shopping for Christmas".

I forgot that she was in Kiss of Death. Gotta see that again, it's been awhile. I recall Richard Widmark, playing a psychotic in that. Wow, it ocurrs to me that Coleen has been in a lot of films I really like. Classy lady.
