This transcends mere gameplay or historical content, it's hard for me to put into words how much I enjoy your counterfactual approach to these battles. It's so easy to criticize the people of the past with hindsight but so often people forget that real life is not so cut and dry, in the moments when the pressure is on sometimes you can't see your own hand in front of your face. Really looking forward to further videos, so happy to have more amazing Combat Mission content.

So the snippet at kzitem.info/news/bejne/lIFvmXeMqKR6bKA was James Hollands Normandy '44 and the main reference book was Breaking the Panzers by Kevin Baverstock. I ended up getting a physical copy but with a Internet Archive account was able to flick through before deciding to buy archive.org/details/breakingpanzersb0000bave/mode/2up

First video of yours that got recommended to me. I'm not a big Combat Mission guy (Mainly because the games are so damn expensive!) but I thoroughly enjoyed this look into a historical battle. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos in a similar format to this. Subscribed!

Steam sales are a definite perk of the games being available there now, but judging by my Battlefront account, this hobby has already been...well-funded, to say the least 🙂
