“Dòigh Nàdair”. Pronounced doe na dare, according to Am Faclair Beag (the Scots Gaelic dictionary), this beautiful phrase means ‘The Way of Nature’. - from an article by Monica Wilde “The Way of Nature”

I’ve been listening to Sharon Blackie’s “If Women Rose Rooted” audio book over the past week and it has been really incredibly nourishing, rooting and just so lush! I have a deep seated sense of belonging to a place where my ancestral roots lie, and this book is making me feel all of the feelings surrounding that.
I made this piece while thinking about all of the wise and powerful women in Celtic mythology as told by Sharon in this book ✨ 🌳
