The church dedicated to the martyr saint Vittore was built in the 10th century on the site of an ancient medieval temple that had existed since the 7th century as the main church in the area. The building was recognised in 1398 as the central church of Rho (Italy) and the entire area, then rebuilt in the 19th century in neoclassical style. The first project included twin towers, one of which was equipped with an excellent concert of six bells, cast in Milan. The church was consecrated by the archbishop in November 1880, after the façade had been completed with the pronaos and the centurion statue. In 1889 the left bell tower was pulled down because it was unsafe; with the material from the second tower, the bell tower was raised to its current height of 58 metres.

In 1962, the beautiful C major concert was enlarged from 6 to 9 bells, which became 11 after the addition of two small bells from two oratories. With the recent restoration, the bells have returned to ten: the nine bells of the concert are associated with the bell in Gothic silhouette designed by a famous engineer from the village.
The bells play some traditional melodies of the valleys, which anticipated the concert for the celebration in honour of the patron saint to whom the central church of the entire area is dedicated. The concert was performed by two friends of mine, while the filming was done in 4K to show the magnificent panorama and to thank the hospitality of this place rich in history.
During the celebration, a balloon, suspended in the middle of the church, is set on fire. This signals how the soldier Victor preferred to die for the truth, rather than live as a slave to sin. His life given to Christ is signalled by the fire of the Holy Spirit, which shows how transient and brief the glory of the world is; as in a fire it disappears in seconds.
