Mark Tilbury is a rare gem and a true man of integrity. As an Asian guy 3rd generation born and bred in England, I never thought I would relate to someone more but Mark Tilbury holds true to good old values and hard work. Would love to meet him and learn more of life and business philosophies from him.

Brilliant stuff! My school careers advisor suggested I become a parking attendant. I left at fifteen, talked my way into a London advertising agency and by the age of twenty was running the UK Coca-Cola trade advertising account. Left at 23, gained a degree, and worked as a secondary school teacher, teaching the way I'd always wanted to be taught. Now at fifty on career number three finally working for myself in the crazy world of antiques. Still learning, still looking for the next interesting challenge. Never listen to the nay-sayers....

I've only discovered your channel recently and really enjoying the content. The conversation about the commercial lets to start ups really resonated with me. I'm at a very early stage and one of those businesses enjoying use of a small office space on a licence basis, on a row of small offices above a printers. It is perfectly suited to allowing start ups a working space, on flexible terms and at an affordable cost. If it is financially viable for the landlord too, it is win-win.

Hi James, I've been watching your videos for the last few days. Mark Tilburys content really is great... but I personally prefer your stuff. I've got a successful ecommerce business, and I'm also building a rather technical mobile app at the moment, so I find your videos informative and relatable. I think mark's content happened to land at a very fortunate time where lots of people were specifically looking into investing in stocks and shares (as well as crypto etc). Its also geared towards beginners so the virus created the perfect storm for his type of content and then the algorithm snowballed. He was in my recommended feed which is how I came across him. Anyway, I hope you're able to keep the videos coming, they're great. Cheers Luke

Hey James, love the content (videos and podcasts). I was thinking about how to leave this comment for a while (after watching this episode) and I think I've "worked it out". I think the reason Mark has done so well in such a short period of time (aside from the videos being high quality and high value) is (as he points out) he isn't trying to sell anyone anything. I know you've gotta plug your Uni etc but you're so much more of a hard seller than he is. I think your issue is that you're in a space (KZitem) where there's a lot of scammers (I know you're not) and so by being pushy with the Uni it COULD put people off. Just a thought. I'm writing this in earnest. I'm honestly not trying to be critical for the sake of it. :)
@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur
3 жыл бұрын
I wish you was right. My first 470 videos didn’t mention my uni or anything else for that matter. Mark smashed it because Graham Stefan shouted him out and he niched down. Plus used Tik Tok to power up his following too.

@@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur interesting. I started watching from your oldest recently and I think they were mentioned. But it was just theory rather than a dig - thanks for taking it in good faith as I meant it as a sincere "maybe that's why". It's true he's smashing TikTok, but again, looks different to everyone on there (or a lot of people on there) which is why he stood out to me. :) Godspeed.

I respect James far more than Mark Tilbury when it comes to business success. Check out Mark’s companies, certainly no millions to be found there !! James’s you tube will get there, it’s an honest and very informative channel, I love it, Mark Tilbury has practically duplicated Graham Stephan’s channel, both style and content, no originality whatsoever… keep pushing James, good luck.
