Thank you for this video, this is so helpful!!! Even for me who has done D-Scores and still is not super familiar with the CV rules.

Personally glad they got rid of the non-rebounding CV. Always thought is was weird that you could “pause” midway through and still get connection.

How about Aerial Walkover + Side Somi? Is that rebounding skill and give CV?

They made it unnecessarily complicated, instead of writing C/D + D (or more) = 0.2 , just write C + D = 0.2, of course anything beyond that will get 0.2 as well since there's no single 0.3 CV... and what's with "B + D backwards only and in that order only" connection, there aren't a lot of D + B backward connection that I could think of (perhaps BHS full + BHS or BHS full + korbut, and how does that any easier than B + D to the point they dont credit the connection? And why would they separate it from B + E

So for the B + F Acrobatic example, you used a G skill, does this mean it's F or above? Does this apply to every one of these skills?
@FlyHighGymnastics
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the highest possible CV that can be awarded is 0.2 . Since B+F will give 0.2 CV, any skill higher than F done in connection will still receive 0.2 CV due to the cap at 0.2 CV. Similarly, for B+D (both fwd), even doing an E-valued front pike will gain the same 0.2 CV as doing a D-valued front tuck.

@@FlyHighGymnastics okay thank you! Another question is if B B C skill can gain extra CV? For example, B F C, would that gain a +0.3 CV? If we're being super unrealistic here, what is the highest CV on a routine you can get, presumably if it's optimised for that?
@FlyHighGymnastics
2 жыл бұрын
Yep! B+F+C would gain 0.3 in CV (0.2 B+F and 0.1 SB). (Assuming C is a non rebounding Acro connection) As for the highest CV a routine can receive, since we're going for extremely unrealistic, the sky's the limit! The only limiting factor would be the time given for one routine (1 min 30s). Hence, it really depends on how many connections you can cram inside that time frame. In my opinion, i think the most would be around 2.0-2.5 CV given the time constraints :)

So no more bonus for three skills connected? That would compensate the low scores on beam because of the strict execution judgment.
@FlyHighGymnastics

There will still be 0.1 Series bonus for 3 skills connected, as long as they are a minimum of B+B+C (in any order).

Can you help me, if a gymnast doing switch split mount immediate into ring leap, how many cv she will get? 0.1 or 0.2?

There is an error in an example, you can't Connect a passé tourn to another passé tourn because the second one wouldn't be count

from cop - only one turn (pirouette) in *tuck stand* on one leg (BB & FX) will receive DV, in chronological order.

B+B+C should not get the series bonus lol Only one B element should be permitted for bonus consideration. Either that or the hardest skill should be an E or higher.
