I used to even delete my TC and rebuild it there and build my forces to do whatever I could. And once i succeeded!! There was not a single Spanish unit in sight, and you know what Tabasco did? Yeah, you probably do..

Leveling every unit and building in every campaign with cobra cars 😛 I used to do that as a kid. In Siege of Paris, I got the refugees outside, got resources for TC using cheats, then spammed cobra cars 😆

I believe you can wall every single piece of the shoreline. The real trick is cheating with pause construction placement - it sure takes time even that way.

@@burningsinner1132 don't remember for the base version of the game but in DE near the wonder there are some piece of water where you can't build but troops and ship can cross so they have a tiny spot to land even if you wall all the coast

@@burningsinner1132 i think it was changed in DE i know for sure they changed the first mission of joan d'arc i remember that once you got the boats there was a litle passage where you could drop your troops and go to chinon without any fight, while in DE they blocked that path and thanks to this video i know that they replaced the 3 op turtle ship by canon galeon

I tried the Lepanto again, apparently they've secretly made 2 tiles on the shore un-wallable thus transport ships are able to drop units there. DE devs are tired to cheap strategies for achievements I guess.

Relatable, except for El Cid campaign. That campaign was so boring. Also, let's be real, Cortez's introduction was the most the badass antagonist introduction in AoE2.

It may not have been the strongest campaign, but it will always have a special place in my heart because of the tournament in the first level, as a kid I thought it was awesome

@@hussardude Same. The story was good and there so many cool things. It's just the gameplay that ruined it (curse you, 75 pops!). I haven't got DE, but I'm sure they fixed this mistake.

@@squidmanfedsfeds5301 I'm usually chill with that pop limit. It's just that it didn't seem to be ok with El Cid campaign due to enemy's defense. I'm not saying the enemy's defense was too hard to destroy. The boring part was that after you manage to pass enemy's defense, you obviously lost some army. So you have to rebuild army again, wait and then pass their defense again and repeat.
