One person..who managed to escape the TV quiz show scandals..unscathed was Sonny Fox..aka Bill Fox..who was unsuccessful as a TV game show host..and he was fired from the program..before the investigation began.

So does that mean game shows today, have the possibility of being corrupt? What about game shows like Family Feud, was it prescribed with a family already chosen? I always loved to watch game shows as a kid, with my grandmother.

Nope. If THAT were the case, game shows would be gone completely.

Game shows, lotteries and gambling are all forms of grifting (swindling). While there may be the occasional legit winner, the chances of you winning are incredibly low. Remember, they are all businesses and there is no way any sane business can run while splashing millions of dollars a week or a month to just random winners. Chances are, most winners are already in on it

this dude, or whoever runs this channel, cannot be trusted. in their "Little Rascals, how everyone died" video, he says that Robert Blake was convicted of murdering his wife and is "still in prison until this day"... Blake was acquitted and is still alive and not in prison. do jot believe this hype for likes person/channel. cannot be trusted, as the comments are disabled on that particular video. it should be taken down. shady stuff

This Quiz Show scandal was before my time. My parents may have knew about it. Yes!! I was surprised to learn about what took place, it was success built on lies and deceit. It was similar to ones using cheat sheets in school to get perfect grades. Makes one wonder how honest today's game shows are.

There is always the possibility of someone being corrupt. That said, the game shows that are left have a lot of things in place to prevent cheating. There are two examples from the 80s on where no one technically cheated, but the contestants were smarter than the shows- for example Push your Luck. A contestant realized and figured out there was a pattern to the board where you won prizes and used it to his advantage. Another was someone who religiously watched Price is Right and had prices memorized. Neither show was very happy about this.

Not all shows gave contestants the answers. In the cases of The $64,000 Question and The $64,000 Challenge, they tested their knowledge prior to them appearing. They then knew what they knew and could use it to their advantage.

@@thewkovacs316 if you watch the American Experience documentary on the quiz show scandal, you’ll find that they did indeed test them in their specific area of knowledge, and one of the producers said that they knew they could ask them any question in that area because they knew what their answer would be
