I have to say, this was the nicest, most refreshing video you have done in a very long time. Simple, no pressure to buy anything, no feelings of being overwhelmed with endless purchases. Good job! So enjoyable and informative. I absolutely loved this video. I hope you do more of these in the future.

This was one of your best and most interesting videos. Being Mennonite and originally from Lancaster County Pennsylvania, I do make most of those recipes. Granola is a mainstay. The pasta salad I have made for about 20 years. Probably my favorite. Miller is off the chart intelligent. He is thinking all of the time. What a delight all of your children are. Thank you for great fun.

Megan this is the best vlog I have seen in awhile. This is my 2nd time watching lol..I have so much to say but this post will probably get lost in the shuffle lol. We leave on the 8th for a 10 day camping trip we do every July with family and friends. Cherokee NC. We have a very large group too. Thanks for the reminder of the pretzels. Adding this to my list for next week to make. Vooked a spiral ham yesterday and out 2 bags in the freezer for the trip. Making the frozen yogurt when we get back!. Also taking some pickles. Ok..watching 3rd time ❤ loved watching the children having such a wonderful time just being kids.. camping is such a wonderful experience for children.

Megan, you were literally a few miles from me! We would hike the trails up on the mountain and look down at the creek and one time they had horses pulling covered wagons that people could ride on and one of the wagons started going off the edge of the bank. I don’t know if the horses were spooked or what. We’ve been at the lookout plenty of times. My husband and I actually had our first date hiking one of those mountains. 😊 Unfortunately, he passed away 3 years ago. 😞 There are so many mountain roads all over up there. We’d sometimes end up at Cedar Run to get ice cream. Lots of memories.

All the recipes looked great. When I go to summer pot luck meals, I make Texas Caviar, or called Cowboy Caviar. It goes by different names. It works as a side dish or some like it as a dip on tortilla chips. It black beans, corn, chopped bell pepers, chopped onions. Tons of recipes online. I like it because you can customize the ingredients. Some call for jalapeños, chopped garlic. It can be made ahead and it's colorful. I like that if wont spoil if isnt on the pot luck table and gets room temperature. I worry about mayonnaise based salads out for awhile.
