Long retired empty nesters, but we can’t quite give up our Sam’s membership. Best TP and paper towel, good prices on clothes for our great-granddaughter, good diapers and wipes (we care for her 1 day a week-hopefully diapers are almost a thing of the past-she’s nearly potty trained) and of course the rotisserie chicken. We also buy our 10 lb. lean ground beef tube there and repackage in 1 pound packages. We also like the pre-made meals in the cooler as a treat-way cheaper than eating out. We go every month or 2. And yes! We like the pizza too!

Our family loves Costco, and ESPECIALLY Sam's Club. And we are a family of 3. Scan and go feature is the best at Sam's. Also if you are a plus member they will ship you a LOT of things for free. Definitely worth the membership price. Telling your son the cute pool plates are "tacky". And so you buy plain white? Girl, it's summer time. Sometimes we need some COLOR in our life. Fun things. Your house is all the same color every where you look. If that is how you like it, then that's wonderful for you. But your kids need some fun plates to eat their summer time lunch on. And about Josh's work's donut trailer, I'm so proud of that man. He can totally reinvent his career. He is a hard worker, and SUCH a great Dad. From a family that drives a good 3 hours one way - just to get a Peachy's donut in Sarasota area, those home made donuts are like nothing else. I know those that Josh makes must be wonderful. I ordered things from your store on line, and Josh was so helpful. Is there anything this man can't do? You have a wonderful, beautiful family.

I’ve been shopping at Costco for years…I went from a single couple, family of four…back to a couple. I like the organic options at Costco…organic eggs, chicken, cream, organic baby greens. etc. I shop there weekly! I don’t buy pre-made snacks except occasionally and I agree, how many organic dill potato chips can two people eat 😳 I literally shop at Trader Joes and Costco…never in a regular grocer/market. We have shelves in our garage just for Costco trips. I buy the big boxes of things and half go in the cupboard and then I put half in the garage. Then in a couple weeks when half is gone and forgotten about, I pull out the second half. One of the best things about Sam’s Club for us has been the Mastercard business card. We use it for everything and the cash back racks up quickly! It’s definitely one of the best features of a Sam’s membership.5% back on gas, 3% on eating out, and 1% on everything else. On top of that, you also get $ back for shopping at Sam’s (I think it’s $10 on every $500). It pays for the business membership and you can either spend the money immediately, or let it accrue.

We live in Oklahoma, but we're close enough to Texas that we drive down there to shop at Sam's about every other month and take advantage of their tax-free groceries. Since we shop there regularly, I make my list in order of the path we always take around the store. Some of our favorite things to buy there are Epsom Salt, Sugar, rice, green beans, all of our paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), white vinegar & baking soda (I use those for my laundry), cream cheese, Tillamook brand blocks of cheese, sometimes we get lunch meat and turkey bacon, whatever fruits, veggies & berries we need/they have a good deal on, Ecos laundry soap, and usually a huge bag of On The Border tortilla chips. We also get computer paper from there a couple time a year. We don't often get clothing or outdoor or book items from there, but I have a 3 sweaters (same style, different colors) that I bought from there about 6 years ago, for $12 each, that I use CONSTANTLY throughout the cooler months and they still look great! They do have cute, sturdy childrens books, and we have bought our children bag chairs from there that they have used over and over and over again for years and they are stil in great condition! I love shopping there with my husband and children!🥰 My husband always uses the scan&go option on his Sam's App, which saves a ton of time. And... my husband inevitably picks up things here and there that I'm like... Why do we need THAT many of whatever it is??😂🤷♀️ A yummy treat to use Ritz crackers for is to slap some peanut butter between two crackers and dip them in melted almond bark.😋😋😋😋

|Wow $3.15/lb of butter is a steal!!! Here in Ontario Canada where I'm at it's $8-9/lb. Depending on what you're looking for it's well worth it to pay the membership cost. Thank you for sharing! Always interesting to see what others get from Sams Club as well as the pricing. There is a section with sliced deli meat in plastic tubs, the cheese slices (cheddar, Colby, muenster, Havarti, etc) are usually in the same section but both of those (at least in my Sams) are not in the same area as milk, shredded cheese, eggs etc. The lunch meat and sliced cheese is near meat section in my location. I have almost always loved their fruit. I feel like it's always so good! Had to edit to add: Scan & go is brilliant if you're able to do that. Hi Megan. I haven’t been to Sam’s or Costco in the Lancaster area but Sam’s Club tends to have a bigger variety of things than Costco. I believe every Tuesday, BJs, Sam’s Club and Costco send a rep to the other clubs to price compare. I’ve actually spoken to one who was doing recon from Sam’s at a Costco. In addition, the things at each club can be tailored to demographics and income levels. I laughed so hard when I saw all the Ritz crackers!!! Hope to make it out to September Farm sometime soon.

I am in Canada and am the mother of six kids and we used to have a Sam’s club where I live and our family really liked it so when it closed we missed it
