It’s not about “downplaying” someone’s mental health issues. It’s the fact that people having bad days and not being 100% are now using the “mental health” excuse nowadays to get out of work, get out of quitting on their team, get out of everything and it’s honestly bullshit because some people have REAL mental health issues and these people are taking advantage of a real issue for their own personal gain. I don’t think you people understand what “mental health” really is. Take Simone biles for example. She doesn’t have any damn real mental health issues. She is just fine and she just happened to not be 100% and wasn’t feeling herself at the Olympics and quit on her team AT THE OLYMPICS and blamed her mental health. That’s such bullshit. Yall quit making it okay to use this excuse when you don’t have a real mental health issue. Y’all bitches are too damn soft nowadays and don’t know how to be a damn adult and push through things when you’re not feeling your best.
