Beautiful bass. I really like the Bridge Pickup with the active mode, bass boost. Sweet. Thanks for sharing with us.

It can mimic the sound of a precision bass very well too. I have a Frudua GfJ 5 string problably made by Cort in Korea. And before i had a Läkland skyline 5501 made by Cort (korea plant). Great quality In a few days i pick up an amber version of this one.

I really miss this bass...regret selling it but the 35" scale was a bit too much for my small hands at the time. It was surprisingly light for it's size, the finish/clear pickguard were amazing. If I ever get a chance to purchase this again I definitely will do, shame only the amber color seems to be available right now. The 2 band preamp was not my favorite but useful. If I had kept it a bit longer I would have probably swapped out the preamp. Definitely needed a setup when I first purchased. Ahhh great buy...wish I had kept it now.

Looks to be a damn nice 5-string J-Bass for the money. Great as a living room bass, or even as a live backup bass. The only problem is being a Sadowsky player for almost two decades, kinda might spoil it a bit for me.

My friend i own 10 basses and play as a pro for over 25 years now. All my instruments are giggin' and they cost (new) from 400 to 10000 euro. I get it that with a boutique bass everything is top notch and (hopefully) out of the box perfect, but don't let the price of an instrument cloud your judgement. These basses are top and their only weak link MAY be the pickups. But that's an easy fix and costs only about 250-300 euros (again IF needed).

@jasonz1771

Put it through some good tube drive and that fret buzz will add to the character. Other than that the only option is to mess with the truss rod or raise the action at the bridge. If you have no clue, take it to a luthier and they can give you a good setup.

I have just bought thi cort bass. I can only say that's impossible to play . Frets are non levelled, the angle between neck and pocket is not right. Strings buzz from the 8th fret to the 20th fret also with the high action setted by the cort workers. This bass has good woods, discrete electronic and hardware but a biggest problem: it can't be played . It's not right that i must go to a luthier to solve production problems of this brand if i payed 570€ ( 600$ ) to buy a "well reviewed" bass.

@@edennard1 It's 35" it results in greater string tension and brighter tone.
