It's such a peaceful life, beautiful nature and fresh fruits. No greedy corporations and board director. Wonderful. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.

Glad I found your channel. I always take the back road from Cloudcroft to Guadalupe Mountains NP and pass through Dell City. I am amazed at the diversity of the agriculture there. How is the aquafer holding up? Thank heavens for the Cornudas and that wildcatter who found water instead of oil!

Yea no kidding and as of right now the aquifer doesn’t seem to be dropping at all and I hope it stays like that

For us it works better than the yellow and it’s a bit cheaper

If you finish your last field and have substantially less than a full bale in the machine, can that be ejected and wrapped or does it just sit in the machine until the next cotton harvest? I play Farming Simulator 22 a lot and tried a mission on cotton, couldn't get the last bale because I was out of field to harvest. I'm guessing it's not quite that complicated with real life cotton harvesters. But then, I think to myself, what do I know? Great video! 😁👍👍

Yup you can manually wrap any size bale you want. We especially use that feature if we want to keep the cotton separate from field to field. If only fs22 would come to me I could give them a lot of pointers on cotton equipment lol

Weed control is just about as easy as in corn. And they’re are a few insect problems but it has been manageable so far

The blue wrap looks cool but is there any science behind the wrap color? Usually you all have yellow from what I recall.
@conleybanman

Yup we’ve usually had yellow but the color just varies on brand and this brand was cheaper and worked better than the yellow

Why the stripper over a picker? Pros n cons?
@conleybanman
8 ай бұрын
We run both some fields need a stripper some need a picker. High yielding cotton a picker will be more efficient but if you have a lot of cotton close to the bottom of the plant and short cotton than stripper works better
