In this Physics video in Hindi for class 12 we derived Coulomb's law from Gauss' law. We know that the Coulomb's law gives us the magnitude of the electrostatic force
applied on a charge due to another charge. Which is equal to the Coulomb's constant times the product of the charges divided by the square of the distance between the point charges. While, Gauss' theorem states that the total electric flux through a closed surface is equal to 1/ ɛ₀ times the magnitude of the charge enclosed. With the Gauss' theorem we can find out the magnitude of the electric field at a point. And, as we know that the electrostatic force on a charge is the product of the electric field and the magnitude of the charge, we can easily deduce Coulom's law from Gauss' law.
