I was in a local supermarket the other week and a mother had the audacity to click her fingers and whistle at a nearby shopworker who was helping an old lady. The worker patiently waited until the mother was close enough in earshot and said "don't whistle at me, I'm not your dog. I'm serving this lady, as you can clearly see, so don't be so rude". Had to respect the balls on her, but I hope this is a new trend starting up where people working in customer service get a little more power back against entitled folk.

Leon, one reason why your videos are so entertaining is how intelligent and quotable your commentary is. Despite occasional delivery in the base language of a common Lowbrow, it is often wise and insightful. In fact, your writing is in the Anthony Bourdain "Near-poetry" style, another person who wrote his own commentary and was gifted as a writer. Your banter is filled with nuggets of gold. Here is my favorite example from this video: 7:52. "The world is now just a barbaric wasteland, filled with 'brainlets' who would choose getting a thousand likes on Twitter over having just a modicum of humanity." Ha! Here's another: "Life is mostly made up of just fleeting moments of joy, In a deep sea of resounding pain where you're basically just on hold with customer service at all times." Excellent! Actually, as someone with experience in that - you do ask that about toddlers. If a toddler has behavioral issues, it's not unheard of for it to be tied to something going on in the background. A three year old holding onto a mom doll because she was abandoned by her own mother. A two year old whose parents only pay attention when he's misbehaving, so he misbehaves all the time to get attention that he desperately needs. These are things you come across. BUT. Children literally are not fully mentally developed, have no life experience, and cannot be resented for their poor behavior. These adults can be. I have shit days, even mental health episodes, but I never treat customer service workers poorly. Because I'm an adult.

Sup from AUSTRIA. Been watching for a minute, thought I'd say hi. Grew up in the U.S.A.for 27 years. I appreciate your constant grind 4 common decency/sense. Fresh u bein' not political, just calling a Douche a Douche. Karens/Kens are running rampant here in the E.U. I F**ked my knee up bc a Karen got so mad I was skateboarding, in the bike lane. I'm 44y/o, tried to skate away but she jumped in front of me, messed my knee up to avoid her. Luckily we got free all health care. Peace out dawg, thanks 4 reminding me of high school & college in the 90's, early 2000's.

I want to give props to the lawyer who's doing whatever he can because he has absolutely nothing to work with. Guy is probably a public defender, has 500 other cases and has to come up with something.

13:17 i used to work at a pharmacy in the uk and honestly it was a daily occurrence of abuse being thrown to us, people get soo mad and my manager wouldn't ever intervene. being paid 6.50 an hour wasn't enough for it

As a restaurant/bartender for over 10+ years, you are ABSOLUTELY right! Serve whoever comes in- up UNTIL closing, lock the door, and politely ask the last guests to enjoy it elsewhere (unless you have closing duties to still do). And as a Commercial Property Supervisor for 3 years, calling corporate will not matter. A LOT of these businesses are privately franchised. So the actual business owner may or may not care, but corporate is very hands off of most chain restaurants/specialty shops. So calling corporate will not "cost this guy his job" as a lot of Darrens and Karens like to believe. Hahaha That is why employees are like "sure, call corporate, no problem! Here is the number-" Because they know staffing is 100% on the franchisee. This doesn't apply to every major corporation, but it does to a lot of the smaller restaurants/specialty shops... And no, I will not name which one I know it will it apply to. Because if MY teenager got threatened at his part-time job, I would be Momma Bear Livid and can not predict my behavior from there.❤😂

@@leapingcrane9105 a few years ago I would have called you guys out but I just can't anymore. Especially after being a victim of them myself. All they focus most of their energy on is their tough guy image and trying to intimidate or fight everyone and everything around them 24/7. A shooting happens in their community and do they care? Not if the shooter wasn't a caucasian cop. I guess BLM only applies sometimes.

Yeah I would also recommend against interfering, big chance you'll just escalate things further and get hurt in the process. Unless they were directly targeting someone I wouldn't step in.
