I agree with one of the other commenters that there are several of the cheaper r/c's that are good. As you know, there are KZitemrs bashing this class of truck extremely hard. I think you're one of the first dedicated racers to experiment with this class of car. I think the Gorgon and Grom are Arrma's attempts to compete with the cheaper bashers. Keep up the good work.

not going to lie but MX Acres tiped it over for me and i rebuilded my slash 2wd to a bandit chassie and stampede body. keept the slash wheels but the truck still got the monster truck feel to it and its kind of a low CG stampede now.

Needs standard esc/rx. That would be nice

i like the blue/red body most. the truck looks relative decent if it holds up we might see that after some bashing but it needs a real reciver and ESC.

Hey, if you wanna save some time with tire grinding, try using nail clippers or horse clippers/front cutters (can't call them the D word anymore because psycho-sociological BS) to get the lugs down to nubs first, then sand to smooth.

Hi, my name is Dan. I really like your channel, very cool and entertaining. I really dig the wooden TLR chassis you got going on, very cool; I have never thought of doing such a thing. I raced at Big Dogs last Saturday for the first time since 2017 and I had a blast. I loved the track layout, very fun. All the racers there were very cool and friendly too. I got a question about tire choice for the track. I know slicks are the way to go but I was wondering what compound should I go with? Something like Raw Speed Gumball or J Concepts silver compound or just regular super soft? I read somewhere on the internet that gumball and silver compound are considered clay compounds so I am thinking super soft??? The fella pitting next to me showed me his tires and they were very soft and well worn in. For some reason, I don’t know why, but I didn’t think about asking him about the compounds; I should have but it didn’t come to my mind. So I am asking you, what compound do you use? Thanks in advance

I like super soft and ultra soft for there. A lot of guys use the gumballs but I can’t seem to make them work.

Problem is parts are impossible to get. The metals are the worst tinny metals. The plastics are extremely brittle. You barely bashed it and broke an arm
@jamesreilly563

That's not entirely true, a lot of these trucks share chassis therefore parts so while it might take a lil more digging you can for sure find parts trick is look for a more popular brand that uses the same parts I've always been able to find parts

@@jamesreilly563 maybe arms and electronics but bulk heads and chassis is proprietary. I guess you can fix anything if you put your mind to it....
