8:04 hotgluing in connectors is very common with electronic toys and things of this nature. Its makes the connectors less likely to fall out and makes the product higher quality in a cheap way even though it looks bad, it works

You should turn your filament holder so it faces out if the machine. If you run out midprint and the bed is that low you won’t be able to replace the spool

I had to move the filament holder as the roll kept coming off and trapping between the bed and the frame, I am looking for an alternative mounting position and a re location of the extruder and filament runout sensor.

Have you heard anything about the Lerdge K 32-bit 3D Printer Mainboard? Kersey Fabrications (KZitem) has put out a few videos on the Ender 5 Plus and one regarding the 32 bit Lerdge board upgrade with the desired drivers and 3.5" touch display and an optional knob for less than $100. It seems to expose more advanced settings.

I just returned mine. It was my 5th Creality printer but something was wrong with it and it had a horrible squeel on the Z-axis right out of the box. :( Took a month trying to figure it out and never did. Also, even the sample files would lose bed adhesion and fail (so much for ABL).

@@NerdlyCNC I'd agree with you if the replacement board wasn't a Creality product but as it is that means they can make better stuff and what would the difference in manufacturing cost be at the assembly line, a couple of dollars at most I'd say.

I have this printer too. I upgraded the build plate to WHAM BAM's PEI build plate, and I absolutely love it. Check to see which power supply you have in your printer. If there is a switch for you to choose between 110 and 220 power, you have the (hate to use the word) cheap power supply, and you'll want to upgrade that to a Meanwell power supply. You can find it on Amazon, and just for the heck of it, I also upgraded to better mosfets for added protection. If that switch is nowhere to be seen, you already have a Meanwell power supply, which is much better than what I mentioned above. Mine was a Meanwell, but it was only 450 watts, and I upgraded to their 600 watt power supply. Here's a great video that much better explains this. kzitem.info/news/bejne/k4R_yamdsmmhaKA

No one should ever buy a creality. I bought this printer on Amazon and was sold by creality on Amazon. The bltouch didn't work and the bed is really warped. I sent an email to creality for support with my order number on amazon only to get a generic reply of "you should contact the seller on Amazon and they will help you" I will just return it to Amazon and leave a negative review. Seriously don't waste your time on creality.

Believe what you want with those reviews about shiny obviously unused 3d printers. Fact is that after a year of trying to use this crap the only thing I can say: creloty Ender printers are the biggest waste of time and money ever. Together with the filaments i wasted a lot of money. Never buy a 3D printer from China. Crap is the nicest word I find for what it is. ... But what's even more annoying are the reviews about them . How can you make a review with a shiny new 3d printer. Where is your pride , dudes????
