Clone the sources: git clone --recurse-submodules github.com/emeiri/ogldev.git If you want to get the same version that was used in the video you can checkout the tag 'VULKAN_04'. Build on Windows: Open the Visual Studio solution: ogldev\Windows\ogldev_vs_2022\ogldev_vs_2022.sln Build the project 'Vulkan\Tutorials\Tutorial04' Note: glfwCreateWindowSurface() returns VkResult, same as regular Vulkan functions so it's better to check it explicitly and not in the way I did it in the video. The checked in code reflects that.

Thank you very much for your efforts, it is very useful for me to improve myself. I want to be a supporter, but the exchange rate difference is 1/30 :(Thank you very much for your efforts, it is very useful for me to improve myself. I know we aren't here yet, but for me the most difficult part of vulkan is to find the correct architecture to handle descriptors and pipelines (since we have to create a new pipeline each time there's a new shader) in a smooth way.

I agree. I guess my initial implementation will be a bit raw because I want to introduce the topic in the simplest way but after that I hope to improve the implementation and make it more usable in the general sense.
