Why do you only convert one of the temperatures into Kelvin and not the cooling temperature?

For supercooling temperature, you can convert it to kelvin. However, you'll still get the same answer because the change in degrees is the same whether it's kelvin or celsius. For example, moving from 0 degrees celcius to 5 degrees celcius is a change of 5 degrees celcuis, if we convert that to kelvin we get 273.15 kelvin to 278.15 kelvin and the change in kelvin is 5 kelvin.
