Ingredients:
▢3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (filleted into 6 pieces)
▢2 cups Pizza Sauce
▢1/2 cup water
▢1 cup Pepperoni Slices
▢2 cups Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
Instructions:
1. Lay the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
2. Top with the pepperoni slices.
3. Then pour over your pizza sauce and the water.
4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
5. Then top with the shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover and cook on high for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is completely melted.
Serve as is or over pasta and enjoy! (Served of spiral rotini)
Recipe Notes:
*I used fresh chicken in this recipe but you can use frozen chicken as well. If you use frozen chicken breasts, I would add 30-60 minutes to the cook time.
* Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5-7 days.
