Hello, good video, but how can one be sure that the image underwent a translation, & not a slight enlargement/reduction for example, bcz a translation is just one of four types of transformation, am I correct?

Based on what is required by the CSEC Maths exam a traslation is easy to spot. The object and image are congruent (they are identical). The orientation also remains the same. With a rotation, the orientation changes and the object and image are congruent. With an enlargement there is a change is size (smaller or larger), but the object and image are similar (not congruent). With a reflection the object and image are congruent but laterally inverted.
