Loved the video, a bit of constructive criticism though. Might work on your audio levels while editing, had to turn the volume up quite a bit to hear you but in the timelapses I got blasted by music

@@sizemattersoffroad9103 I've done some of this kind of video/audio work before and one of the easiest things you can do is run everything through a compressor to make the audio a little more consistent but it really just needs some practice. There's a lot of good guys on KZitem who know more than I do about it.

@@sizemattersoffroad9103 Doesnt it weaken the tire to cut it down to the cords? I would think you would be at risk of getting a puncture from a stick or rock in a situation where you are riding at an offroad park going between mud holes.

Im cutting my first set this weekend iv been practicing for awhile and i got a buddy thats going to let me cut theres my main question is do you have to have 30psi in any size tire? i will be cutting 32 juggernauts any help would mean alot thanks love the work and chanel!

What brand & size of groover do you recommend for a do it yourselfers? We run 35/47s and mainly just want to grove the tires after they are 1/2 warn down to wake them back up again. Thanks and hope to hear back from you soon.

This looks so good! But what's the full purpose of taking so much rubber off isnt that weakening the tyres and making them unsafe with all that rubber missing from side walls and that?

Not really. AG tires are engineered to have extra puncture survivability(ie thickness), but these are not going on an implement, they're going on a mudtruck, so rotational friction loss is much less.

I cut all my tires. My rzr tires are custom grooved. My f250 tires are grooved. Grooved my wife's tires. Its an addiction

@@sizemattersoffroad9103 I grew up grooving my tires for atv racing. Now I do it to increase traction, reduce weight and look badass on my daily drivers. Reducing that unsprung weight will add a few horsepower to the ole seat o the pants feel.

Never seen someone balance an ATV tire. You aren't riding over 20mph with these. Balance is not a factor when there is several hundred pounds of mud in them.

It's purposely built for industrial uses, heavy duty stuff. Doing this and putting on light trucks is still ok. Pretty fun eyy!

Main reasons for cutting tires are to reduce rotating mass which frees up wasted horsepower, added traction and flexibility of the tire. Tires like this are intended for a tractor so they can be lightened your to use for other applications
