I wasn't originally planning on documenting the cutting & resealing of this 2019 BMW M5 Adaptive LED headlight. It was sent in for a full black out. We have opened these lights before through a traditional baking process in the past but ended up in a bad position with a cracked lens. From that point on we cut these open each time. After posting up a reel on Instagram of the Honda USW335-Ti ultrasonic cutter in action, many people had questions on how I planned to reseal this assembly. Please watch the full video to get an understanding of the how's and why's of cutting open a headlight. Please excuse me as I may have repeated myself during the process. I hope this video is helpful to anyone thinking about cutting a light open. Finally, if you don't have anything nice to say, please refrain from posting! I understand this process is very controversial, but as a business we must weigh the pro's and con's of each job. If there is a way to minimize the risks, we always follow that path. Thanks for watching!
