Finally a vlog again from you guys! 😄 The Czech Republic is definitiv on my list for upcoming travels. I love how you put casual vlog-videos, behind the scenes and great cinematic drone shots together to one video. Look forward to see more amazing content like this on this channel. 🤗

Finaly someone visits other places than Prague. One note though - traveling feels more free without a car, as you can end your trip in different location than it started. Dense public transportation system allows you to reach and return to/from any destinations. Even if you change plans midway.

@@SaltinourHair Well, there is always the next chance. My reccomendation is "Kokořínsko", take bikes. It is a rural area, full of greenery, pictoresque villages and old wooden and clay cottages. Plus the castles and original + natural rock formations. You can rent a room in pension and spend a few days cycling around.

@@shaunbat3285 Brno is a bit overrated. Sure it is university town, so it is buzzing with young energy. It is also allowed to take dotations from EU unlike prague, so it has seen a lot of development since 2001. But historicaly it is not an interesting place. I would reccomend you visiting Olomouc, a city with unique baroque style, where bishops and arcbishops resided, and also a large fortified town, to which emperor of Austria fled to, when Vienna revolted. Second reccomendation would be Plzeň (Pilsen), a medieval town, which is an origin of pilsen beer. 70% of world beer production is it´s copy. Next spot to visit is Terezín, a nazi concentration camp. It is important to remember these crimes. And last I can think of, is a fortress of Josefov, an 18th century style defensive structure, which´s purpose was to block Prussia empire. It is UNESCO site.

@liszcgsedt
3 жыл бұрын
@@SaltinourHair Options are plentiful, depends on how much time you have and how adventurous you are. Take Cesky Krumlov. Fancy as it may be, it is basically the same as Old Town square in Prague - no one really lives in the center, all overpriced souvenirs, no groceries, it is a tourist attraction, fullstop. Do they have castles and castle ruins in the US? Well, they have one. In the UK? Warwick is cool but ... by far not what you find in Czech Rep. Seen any of Czech gothic (as in cathedrals) or baroque? Been in a pub (to check out the atmosphere, not that beer is the obvious thing here)? I certainly do not know who your audience is and what they expect, but I would like to see what I cannot find in Lonely bloody planet. Just saying.

@@liszcgsedt You suggest visiting pubs instead of Český Krumlov or Karlovy Vary? You must be kidding. Český Krumlov is same as Old Town square because of overpriced souvenirs? Really weird notions.
@liszcgsedt
3 жыл бұрын
@@michaldevetsedm1882 Certainly, if you fancy crowds, tourist prices or rocketeered exchange rates in the must-see zones where you hardly see a Czech guy that does not want to extort you, be my guest in fking Krumlov. But then better buy a good guide rather than spend time on a video that regurgitates what has been regurgitated a million times already. Here I was asked for my suggestion, which I gave and you twisted by cherrypicking a single item. Idiot.
@Merlin191
