“On the rooftop” would be better, and we use it frequently here in the US. Happened to find an explanation for this... Roof refers to the external covering at the top of the building, whereas rooftop is an area atop the roof that accommodates activities like making a ball pool tho lol.

4:57 I think the answer depends on where and how you use it. ‘The apples can be used in a variety of different cuisines’, which can also be straightforward when you stand facing a pile of apples.

I’m a native speaker and yet I reckon he’s way more familiar with the fundamentals. You don’t really think about the language rules beyond elementary school.
I'm so impressed by the clarity of your explanation. It's super easy to understand ! I know these grammar items but I just cannot be able to explain it to others

I make dinner for you. Vegetables are good for your health。 I'm allergic to seafood. I gave my cat to neighbour. 這裡的give是有移動性的動詞,所以用to To和For也可以用在同一個字,但是用詞不同 例如 I'm calling for “接名詞或接v-ing”,如reservation,having a reservation?

Thanks for the series! Really didn't know the logic behind before watching the video, I used to add a/an/the just by feeling. And now, I finally understand the logic behind. Thanks and I will continue to watch your videos.
