I have some suggestions: • "One in A Million" by Aaliyah • "He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat) or "Hear my Call" by Jill Scott • "Lifetime", "This Woman's Work" (Live) or "Ascension" by Maxwell EDIT: 21 likes!?!? Now I feel like a child on Christmas day! I was not expecting this comment to blow up. Thank you! 😘☺️

Needs to be the Live Version of "This Woman's Work" from MTV Unplugged. 1) a good half of people, if not more, knew and fell in love with the live version first (Maxwell actually released the studio version in 2001 3 years *after* he first performed it live on MTV in 1998), and 2) he pays a proper respect to the original writer, Kate Bush, right before he sings it, in the live version, and 3) it's just sonically better and more consistent (entirely falsetto)

Loved the reaction! I grew up to Erykah Badu. My mother used to play her music all the time. The son is very knowledgeable and he is even teaching me some things I didn't know about artist.

My mother liked Baduizm and Apple Tree was one of her faves. I fell in love with Mamas Gun. Even tho they are only about 3 yrs apart, this one feels more a part of my youth than the former.

Erykah is so classic. Definitely one of my favorite artists. Ledisi and Leela James are a couple of amazing underrated neo-soul artists. Leela's rendition of "A Change Is Gonna Come" is so smooth.

This video is awesome for soo many reasons 👏🏾 …for one I love how this Millennial is educating his dad about an artist that’s not even from his era! Secondly I love how his father is genuinely showing interest in what kind of music his son listens too. If more people would take the time to learn other people cultures, music and Customs etc this world would be so different.

@@frontroom Window Seat or Phone Down are also great tracks. Have you heard Jill Scott? Try "Golden" or "A long Walk". For your next hip-hop vid please consider Talib Kweli...Get By, the beautiful Struggle, I try or Never Been in Love. Kweli is more niche and less known than the rappers you have featured. I think many will appreciate hearing him along with you. Thank you for appreciating and giving exposure to the beautiful music you have featured on your channel. If Dad likes this song and Billy Holiday, I definitely recommend you share with him Erykah Badu’s green eyes. Her style in this song pays homage to the jazz and “scatting” singers of the bebop and other jazz eras. Cool video as always gentlemen.

He is very open and accepting of the different types of art expression and this is EXACTLY the purpose of art. What a beautiful channel!
