I honestly think this should be brought back in just limited runs. Even if it was around a topic or thing to discuss or something and had it for 6 weeks and then see what later. Hunters great and incredibly engaging when he’s discussing something of passion but the weeks he isn’t into it, it all suffers
@CoverMePorkings

I agree. Noel and Hunter have such different tastes too but are both genuinely interested in each others opinions, so I think a good angle they could try is taking it in turns to introduce each other to a piece of media or art and then discuss it on the pod. For example, Noel could pick a rap album that they both listen to and discuss, then the next episode they watch and discuss a horror film that Hunter picked out. A pod like that would give them a more focused topic every episode, a passionate angle and could be at more spread out schedule than weekly. They could even do episodes where they explore interests they already share, like Magic the Gathering. It doesn't have to just be a random shoot-the-shit pod

@Hdehshzyhwjw
3 ай бұрын
@@BlackMarketBoba depends on the platform and how they market it. in terms of ad rev the market is saturated and they make less, but if you have a good agency or better yet are self-run and all money goes directly to you there's much room for profit if the pod is marketed well. plus with patreon even super small podcasts can make good money by convincing a tiny fraction of the audience to give pocket change every month. small niche podcasts that can get targeted ads and a supportive fanbase are arguably making more profit than they ever could've, it's just the generic ones hosted by greedy platforms (like TMG) that don't profit as they used to
