As a lifelong hypochondriac, I can relate to Drew so hard in this episode. One thing that has helped me a lot is reminding myself that there are lots of options between nothing is wrong and that I'm dying. For example, my brain is always telling me that a pain in my finger is either nothing or that I'm dying. But there are other options -- you could be having a muscle spasm, a pulled muscle, you jabbed it and forgot, etc. Those aren't nothing, but you aren't dying. That has helped me a lot.

I think that sidewalks should just be larger so that both bikes and pedestrians (and any skateboarders and whatnot) can use the sidewalks but have enough room to not worry about hitting each other. And just have a rule where all bikers should have the little bell that they can ring to let pedestrians know that they are coming through, and they should move to the side

On the topic of guitar hero for piano, there was an old program, Synthesia, which I used to use growing up. I think it's still around but I'm not sure how things have changed, but it did help me a bit in practicing piano. My first real kiss was also the time I lost virginity. And there was absolutely no emotion in both. We were at the beach hanging out and every single person BUT me and a girl went off to hook up. So we were sitting there like "what now?" and she said something like "should we like, do the same or something?" I was like "okay, I guess" and so we did it. It wasn't that bad, no one hated it but it felt more like a necessity than something emotional or passionate. I remember we literally shook hands after and went back to the spot to wait for others 😂😂

Two things about kissing: 1. I dated a boy I went to high school with who was afraid to kiss me because "God was watching" and it was so confusing to me. It was clear he wanted to, but he was very scared. It's kind of crazy how much religion scares us from being just ... normal kids? 2. When I was a little kid, my friend and I would kiss the basement wall in my house and pretend we were kissing our celebrity crushes lol. One thing about Guitar Hero: My mom got on a Guitar Hero hyperfixation one time when a coworker let her borrow her son's old Play Station and play Guitar Hero for like, two weeks. We both played a lot, but she was committed to getting a "Perfect Score" before moving on to the next level of "Free Bird" that she played for FOUR HOURS STRAIGHT one day, and she said she was so dizzy and felt so sick that she never played again. I let her know that the game literally says "Don't play for longer than 1 hour in one sitting" lololol. So ... my mom isn't a gamer anymore

As a person that got back into Rock Band a few months ago and picked up a full keyboard to start learning piano a couple weeks ago I've never heard a hyper specific podcast more for me. I just got some hardware to hook my keyboard to Rock Band 3 so I can mess with Pro Keys. My SO started taking guitar classes a month ago and we are picking up a RB3 Squier Stratocaster with midi support tomorrow! The old game Jarvis was talking about was Frets on Fire(Classic!) The tool to learn Piano that Jarvis was describing exists and is called Synthesia. It works exactly how you'd expect. Tons of places to get MIDI song files to load into it too. Of course traditional players frown on the tool and not learning to read music. The more I learn the more I understand that as valid if you want to "get gud" but it's a fun tool and you can actually learn to play songs with it. Whatever keeps you on your instrument is a valuable tool if you ask me and it's a fun way to play. Clone Hero is great if you want to play Guitar, Bass, and (some)Drums but it still doesn't have the polish of the Guitar Hero or Rock Band games if you care about that. There is no better program if you just want to go ham on guitar tracks. If you want to play full band and have vocal support with custom songs your best bet is Rock Band 3. (RB4 has customs but it has bugs with vocals, less songs, and no keys support.) Xbox 360 is the easiest console to load customs on(just have a pre EA copy of the game and you can load songs on a flash drive. No mods needed.) You can also play the Wii version on real hardware or emulated but by far the best(and most complicated) way is using the PS3 version on PC with the PS3 emulator RPCS3 if you have a strong computer. RPCS3 lets you run the game at 120-240hz. Upscaled to 4k looks great but the band can look glitchy at times. The increased polling is smooth as eggs and plays perfectly if your PC is fast enough. It's just more complicated because you'll have to convert most customs to a PS3 format and ideally build song packs of them. "Rock Band 3 Deluxe" is a community mod I recommend if you go the console or emulation route. More features, more options, the game runs better, and it raises the 3,000 song limit to 8,000. C3Universe is the best place I frequent to get customs but you can also find the official DLC elsewhere if you are into that kind of thing and there are ways to make it work on any console version or Clone Hero. If you go the emulation route you can use almost any guitar or drums from any console that you can hook up through USB or Bluetooth to the PC. For keyboard support you need the one for the console(you can convert Wii to PS3 hardware and vice versa with small hardware mods. This also includes MIDI Pro Adapters.) As far as mic support goes; For Wii emulation on Dolphin you need an actual Wii supported one where on RPCS3 you can use any audio input(but no harmony support last I checked.) The Rock Band Customs Project is the place to go if you want to learn about any of the RB stuff. I also highly recommend checking out TBRB Customs, the Beatles Rock Band customs scene where they are almost done adding every Beatles song to The Beatles Rock Band game. Those are always high quality, full band, custom animations, and new backgrounds. I found most of my controllers very cheap watching ShopGoodwill auctions for days at a time over a couple months. I have no idea if this info will help anyone but it took me months to figure out the best way to play full band customs so I thought I'd share it if there is any chance it helps someone else. I'm excited to see Drew's video too! I'll be constantly refreshing Jordan's channel until it pops up!

Melodics is kind of what Jarvis was describing to learn piano. You hook up your Midi keyboard and it attempts to teach you to play through lots of exercises and songs. My favorite part about this podcast is Jarvis interrupting every time someone talks to go on a long winded rant that adds little or nothing to the convo and ending it by trailing off awkwardly

I went through the exact same thing as Drew where I was never really that concerned about my health. But now, pretty much every single day I wonder if Im going to die lol. I also have been going on walks 😂. It’s nice to hear I’m not alone
